The showdown between Jonathan's health professionals and the local education authority has been scheduled for today. This could be fun ....

It isn't half-term around here. I do look forward to its arrival in the next few weeks - it means fewer folk on my train in the morning (but on the other hand more teenagers on the evening one, so it is swings and roundabouts).
Best of luck for the showdown Phil. I will keep my fingers crossed.

It's being done in our absence, which in turn shows the LEA that the other professionals are serious about it if they've come without pushing or the presence of stroppy Mum.

Went well.
The plan is this: A couple of the health professionals are going to look at Redoak, which has signiong TAs in every class, and Moredon & Greenmeadow, as local schools that might be able to meet his needs if a signing TA could be found. We'...ll then be able to compare them with the current intended school and see what can best meet his needs.
Half term this week so will be a few weeks before anything happens. A meeting in Jan reviews his statement and any changes/final choice of school made by 15thFeb.

A nice hour in the loft re-arranging things slightly to give another shelf for my G1 reissues.

A Place in Space. Used them fine for long enough but if what I've paid for doesn't arrive and the PO don't have it and I'm fobbed off with quite frankly utter bullshit I smell shite (essentially blaming invisible fairies). Plenty of other shops that can have my business instead.

I've used Disposable Heroes a bit recently. A tinsy bit slow on the free postage - still waiting for last weeks OHotMU Update#4 - but not bad otherwise.

Were redecorating the kitchen. Everything except the microwave is new including the roof, ceiling, floor and some of the walls. Its all gotten a bit hectic with the Ikea installer starting tomorrow and all the new cabinets and appliances arriving today. I've spent the day painting and filling cracks and holes between the deliveries. The parents amazingly choose a metallic fuscia type colour for the walls and I just realisedthe cabinets are black and I think I've convinced them to have a bit of purple highlight and possibly they are going for a translucent splash back for the oven. If this all comes off, our kitchen will be painted in Actionmaster Thundercracker colours!
Whats more amazing, I didn't have the final say on the colours or realise what was happening till today.

The splash back is likey to be green or blue so which ever it isn't will need to be aplied somewhere. A new blind maybe or the tiles. Were definitely trying some violet but I'm wondering if I can find a use for the metalic purple as its closerthe AMTC and more importantly Dad really like it.

All kitchens must be Thundercracked! -Ralph Er, no. Mrs Shockers would kill me. Dead. Deader than dead. She'd kill me, reanimated me, and then kill me again. HELLO SPORTSFANS!!! Right with ya, there, Bogatan, we're arse deep in some pretty extensive renovations. Getting there though. Most of the rough men in leather shorts are doing well. Having a nice half term so far. Piglet needed the rest after a busy first half term at school. Not doing too much with her, just usual, we want her to have a rest! I have a question- why do decorating paints have such BIIIIZZZAARRR names? I've painted my kitchen/dinning room in something called Crisp Bamboo! CRISP BAMBOO?!?!!! Looks nice though. Not Thundercracker nice, but it'll do. Take it easy out there dudes!
