Titan have done something that might get peoples backs up. In Sainsbury they have #2 in - but with a new cover - gold Optimus Prime on cover & free extra toy. Not sure if change in price. So if you subscibe you only get the comic 15p cheaper 2 days after everyone got it in the newsgent with less free gifts. Unless this is shop only offer? I never got that with the one I got in a newsagents the other day. What was the extra toy? something worthwhile or a gun?

It looks like those £1 machine toys from toysrus when you go out. But it might be Sainsburys only - i've not checked round all places yet. But it has a new front cover with Gold Optimus Prime on the cover top right.
also it says 8 to collect.

How odd. My local Sainsburys stocked #1 but not #2. Same with TESCO. And RS McColls. And ASDA. I only know #2 exists because I saw 1 copy in a random newsagent!

Still not seen it anywhere other than that one random copy. It's either sold astoundingly well on release or it was under-ordered or under-distributed. #1 was not hard to find, with either the gun or Leg-end.

#3 yesterday £2.99 cover price - but does contained mis printed poster - so Shockwaves hand is at the top & head at the bottom. The newsagent might have £3.99 one in with extra toy & new cover & poster printed correctly.
But the story is a new artist & no Starscream V Megatron like stated last issue.

Bought TFUK #3 in FPL today for 2.99 with the cut-out-and-keeping Bot Badges and Energon Blaster (Lies! It fires soft red foam!). Robin Etherington delivers an intelligent script and Dario Brizuela's artwork is fantastic.
The ultimate smackdown between Starscream and Megatron is a little disappointing. It is simply a two page (p4 & 5) feature on both characters, describing the background, weaponry and battle stats of each character. If anyoene is interested, their vital stats are:
STARSCREAM Height: 31" Weight: 5.3 tonnes Max Speed: Mach 3 Power Level: 3 Endurance: 3 Skill: 4
MEGATRON Height: 35" Weight 5.7 tonnes Max Speed: Mach 3 Power level: 5 Endurance: 3 Skill: 3
In other news, Soundwave has developed a new communication code for the Decepticons. The code is inspired by Chinese symbols, for the most part, with some other influences (the symbol for M resembles the reptile eye from the Beast Wars logo, while question mark looks like a running man). However, Soundwave seems to have become a little bored around the middle. The symbol for N has a close resemblance to, well, I don't want to say what it resembles. However, if Soundwave continues to draw these pictures it will be time for Mr and Mrs Spank to pay a short, sharp trip to botty land.

Like #2, I haven't see any copies of #3 in shops. In all honestly, I would have thought the comic had been canned if I hadn't read the comments here!

I expect the Ironhide stuff in the next isuse is a feature & nothing to do with the story. I've still not read the issue yet.

Turns out the story is a Soundwave-vs-Optimus one, with the reason why Epps quit NEST. It's alright but if they don't move past prequels soonish, there's not much point to the comic.
(RPM stories! BIG HOSS SHALL RULE)

I couldn't find a single copy anywhere in Newbury today.
Though Martins was closed, so maybe I can try there a little later...bit concerning though...

Read the issue now [the strip & letters part]. One thing not covered is Soudwave having ability to use both his satellite mode while transforming in robot mode to look like his car mode.

Transformers v3 #5 - is Transformers Prime UK #1 ? I dunno, is it? Does a Next Issue page hint that?

The next issue page is Transformers Prime - but might just be a one off & Titan may have dropped the Movie line? we'll find out in 4 weeks then 4 weeks after that [if one off they'll not have it for 2 issues - also don't expect Titan to do DOTM story & 5 page Prime story]

They should have 5 page ongoing PCC comic strip. Unless Hasbro have dropped the toy line?
If they just change details of the toy box on PCC origins - "The toys' packaging presents a simple storyline about Power Core Combination technology being found on Earth. "
If another planet where the Minicons are bulit & the limb drone are from that planet - but the main Transformers character uses them, thsi meaning endless supply of limbs if the planet is covered in these & the Commanders can link up with any - take control of them. Just the minicons are one of a kind.

May I be the first to say, THAT'S JUST PRIME!
I seem to recall that Titan have a Facebook page for the comic. Perhaps we could post a question there.

Volume 1 did change the title to 'TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE' for a while so a name-change is possible.

It depends on what channel Prime is airing on, I guess. May I be the first to say, THAT'S JUST PRIME! It had to be done! Good idea.
