I think you all know how I've voted..... But let's look at this logicallY: He can't be yellow or red because then he looks too close to BB or Cliffjumper He can't be blue, orange, white, beige or red cos then he'd be the same colour as one of his case mates and that'd be confusing. So, from Ian's list we're left with: Green
Grey
Black
Magenta
Silver
Purple
Mauve
Rainbow
Barbie Pink
Sausage coloured

I voted for white, but as I said before, I understand the reason for the color swap between hubcap and tailgate.
Tailgate mold looks absolutely hideous in yellow, while hubcap looks great yellow.
It was a logical choice.
And at the time, people didn't have this insistance that absolutely every car with that transformation scheme (cliffjumper, hubcap, runabout, runamuck, goldbug, chase, freeway, searchlight) be repainted from Bumblebee, so it wasn't the problem then, that it is now.
(And he was red in G2 to differentiate him from Bumblebee, but I'm willing to bet that the original plan was for Cliffjumper, but the mold was either lost or dead)

The G2 colour was fine... for a G2 Cliffjumper, not a G2 Hubcap.
The blue I voted for is a considerably lighter shade of blue than Pipes, so in my mind they are different colours.
