As it is 2019 what are your exciting new years resolutions? Are you all like me and have an efficient Excel spreadsheet to document them all?
My goals (which I must be held to account on) are:
1) Be less fat. I am doing well but I need to get back into running properly and join a gym (but not in Jan as that's when they become crowded with people). Aiming to lose at least another 6lb. I don't want Shockprowl mistaking me for a pork pie
2) Be more productive. I have a lot of creative projects that I want to get done and really want to push myself.
3) Be less of a mess. By which I mean I have waaay to much stuff in my flat and need to get rid of it, sort out my finances (I can probably pay off my student loan with a bit of effort), go out more, etc etc.

Also want to lose weight and clean house/declutter.
Insanity is my home workout of choice. Last time I did it I lost on average 3lbs a week for about 2 months. Super tough but worth it if you commit to the diet and work out regime. And you don't need any equipment.
Probably starting in Feb though. The clutter is blocking my usual work out space in the conservatory!

What's 'insanity', Stom'? I thought to loose weight you'd just get down to the Stomski-beat.

I know how much time I waste procrastinating! Oh I understand that. I have that feeling all the time. Mrs P says I drive myself too hard, but I know how much time gets wasted.

I have put on weight due to illness and would like to lose the spare tire and get back to my usual level of fitness by the end of the year. That all depends on how treatment goes (went private after being dicked around too much on the NHS).
I have other goals for 2019 which I keep private but which some of you know.
The goals have no relation to New Year resolutions (which I don't do). Had these in mind for a while.

Hmmm.
1. Salad Week 4evar!
2. I am spending money on a online learning subscription, I probably should make use of it.
3. Draw more. Ive done at least one drawing every day since sometime between August-October 2015 which I'll continue with, but would like to do more big projects.
4. Animate more. Or anything.
5. Excercise. I pulled some muscles in my back around TFN time so couldn't do much beyond get through work for the rest of 2018. They still don't seem completely happy, but doing some excercise things really has to happen. I may dig out Wii Fit at least. I quite enjoyed the yoga stuff on there.

I used to use EA Sports Active on the Wii to do a daily routine. That worked really well.

Honestly I think the main reason Wii fit worked for me so well was that it involved weighing myself every day and seeing the results in graph form. It made progress or lack of it more real.

In no particular order:
- Eat less meat.
- Play my piano more often.
- Maybe get the wooden windows on my house replaced. (Or maybe postpone it for another year.)
- Remember to instigate Rhyming Week if no-one else does.
- Help Pinwig finish the TMUK-CYOA.

I now have visions of Martin in a fine silk smoking jacket as he serenades posh people at parties on his piano.

Playing piano to relax, _not_ in front of other people. Never be good enough for that.

- Maybe get the wooden windows on my house replaced. (Or maybe postpone it for another year.) Having had wood windows in my old house and replaced them with double glazing, the difference was immediate. The house felt warmer in the winter and more somehow this felt more important, but the quietness modern windows made it feel more private and homely. It was a minor, but surprisingly impactful change on quality of life.

So what we're saying here is that Blue's New Year resolutions lasted... 22 hours.
I think on any level that has to be regarded as a bit of a fail.
