Travelled up to London yesterday evening, had wanted an extra day at home with Liz so we could have a lunch out together (the weekend got very mad)
Had intended to go out and do some shopping, but the body is telling me to have a rest today, well till this evening when I see Mum.
Had also been mulling over staying till Sat, but a quick audit reveals I've not brought enough of one of my drugs. It's the prostate one, not any of the CMT, anaemia or digestion ones, so I should be good if I ration what I have but it's definitely looking like a Friday trip home.... weather permitting.

It snows, here. Hopefully not for long as I have to be in the hospital for 9am tomorrow.

Tiny patter of snow right now, not expecting it to settle though.

We pretty much just have a light dusting here this morning - a result of a couple of hours sleet last night. Yesterday's weather forecast said that there would be heavy snow today, but looking at the forecast this morning there doesn't seem to be any snow expected for the forseeable future. So much for all my colleagues concerns about how they would get into work this week by the looks of things.

Plenty of snow here overnight. Most has already turned to ice. Office is missing all its workers from the west side of Manchester today.

This week for Martin consisted of a pleasant three days in London followed by a miserable two days in bed with a nasty cold. Managed to keep up to date with work though due to the miracle of modern technology (i.e. a work laptop). Just realised I won't be present for day 1 of Rhyming Week. I will join in the fun from Tuesday pm onwards. Do me proud in the meantime! Martin

Writing the date on the board today, I stopped and thought, where the hell did January go? 1/12 of the year gone and nothing to show for it. A cycle of work, eat, sleep and almost nothing else. Last Friday feels like it was yesterday.
