The tape set is a must though it reminds me that I missed out on Soundblaster. The narrow window to get some TF toys these days does aggravate me. We don't all have bottomless budgets.

IIRC Soundblaster was the 35th toy that InDemand didn't get. So no UK outlet for it existed and it did go quick at Robotkingdom
Not seen a UK tape order yet so flung in a security order at BBTS. I will monitor
I'm fortunate that I have got what I've been after but narrow windows and non UK availability frustrate me

I count myself very lucky I was able to get a Siege Skywarp, for instance, but those Micromaster repaints still elude me, among others. This Spy set being Selects worries me too. It seemed like any of those that made it to a UK supplier were gone almost instantly. And these couldn't have been split into two sets? I have to buy all four just to get more tapes for Soundwave so I may as well spend the £50 on another Voyager to get best use of them? And don't get me started on the hilariously priced Seacons. Hasbro, man. It's like they got used to Movie toy boom-time money and are now desperate to maintain it no matter the cost (to us).

I know two walmarts that are generally outside of my normal routes that got the 35ths. The only two in my area that did.
I need to head out to the DMV, which is near one of them. So I can pop over if anyone wants and see if they still have Soundblaster? (I assume any interest in bluestreak was squashed by the new ER datsun mold, but i can look for/snag all four)

I'm in only my fourth year as a 'serious' collector but this last year has really been difficult in terms of sourcing the toys I want, and the effort - and mounting cost - is putting me off continuing. I count myself very lucky I was able to get a Siege Skywarp, for instance, but those Micromaster repaints still elude me, among others. Last year was VERY different to the last decade or so here, with the major specialists sourcing from the UK rather than Hong Kong. Even there certain items have been harder to find than usual, notably Ratchet, the Micromasters and Jet 3 pack. MOST of the Select sets have had reasonable online availability The problem with the tape set is it's trying to do two things: Doubledealer's Powermasters and Frenzy plus another tape, which there is possibly not a huge crossover for..... And with Doubledealer not out the demand for his tapes isn't there. And don't get me started on the hilariously priced Seacons. The Seacons are Takara, not Hasbro, and are priced accordingly, Japanese toys being more expensive. My feeling - not having bought many Japanese toys in the last few years thanks to brand unification - is that these are around the right price for a Japanese toy of it's class and any difference is more than made up for by the work done and extra kit in the package. Hasbro, man. It's like they got used to Movie toy boom-time money and are now desperate to maintain it no matter the cost (to us).

Best/educated guesses for the fun of it.
1. Spinister repaint 2. Airwave repaint 3. Cliffjumper retool 4. Megatron, with something horribly wrong.
5. Skywarp and Thundercracker, or Sunstorm and Acidwing 6. Runabout & Runamuck 7. Wheeljack repaint as either Marlboor, or Slicer- Hasbro hasn't much precident with the marlboor deco. But they like Slicer, but lost the name. So it could go either way. 8. Ironworks repaint
9. Could be anything. Best guess is it's a name reuse, likely for a battle/rampmaster 10. ?? No clue what this is. 11. Runamuck retool, obviously. 12. Hoist retool, obviously.

There's no known bumblebee though. And the only time it's been officially done was botcon 07, and the earlier ehobby set
I think a name reuse for a battlemaster at this point seems as logical as anything else.

I'd not be surprised at all if [Ratchet]'s a brand new mold that looks almost identical to Siege. That seems to be the general theme of this line. And yet it still won't have a red head and a white crest. Like they'll never give us a black helmet Megatron...

It might be the correct Deco on the Siege Ratchet as an excuse for doing it again

MAKE ME EARTHRISE CHECKPOINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tfwiki.net/wiki/Cordon#MasterpieceI believe a proper G2 Sunstreaker would either be virtually identical to the original (there were no other yellow bots in this wave), or it would be reversed colors like Sideswipe, with some crazy stickers. The second one would be more fun.
