Chia seed and oat porridge with chopped dates in, with a banana and a clementine (consumed separately).
... that sounds far to healthy, I need to never run out of bacon again.
Also, tattie scones are excellent.
Sadly, completely absent from my neck of the woods.
However next month I will be visiting friends on iona, and a PROPER breakfast is traditionally had first thing across the boarder.
Ahhh, and the glorious mince round, how I have missed thee.

I ate round sectors of potato scones back in my Scotland days. I wonder if they were potato cakes. The likes of McGhees makes them as well as potato scones and sell them in identical packaging next to each other in shops. Potato cakes also look just like potato scones other than being round. There is also the Irish version (potato farls). They tend to thicker and fluffier. -Ralph

Oh no. No. What the Dickens is the difference between a potato cake and a scone? I can't cope with this! Cakes, waffles, hash browns, scones... It's too much!

And very fine it was too.

I braved some cereal this morning. I appear to be having gut troubles from some dodgy porky pies over the last few days. Guts calmer today but still not right. And my breath is going through patches of not smelling good. Mrs M has informed me.
