I have said hello to M's new spider. It didn't do anything.

It watched you carefully I think you'll find. Zoe has heard of your toilet fictions.

Bert and Ernie have arrived. My Science Skills however quickly identified them as insects rather than the promised arachnids. They are two baby praying mantis not scorpions.

Maybe they are scorpions in pretender shells.

I've just had one of those moments. It's Praying isn't it. Not Preying. I've always assumed they were Preying because they're insects that prey on others (no idea if they do...), but it's Praying because their front legs are often held up together making it look like they're in prayer.
Oh my god. I never realised that.

I am glad you realised this before Tuesday. You fool.
Two spiderlings purchased at Invertebrate Show this afternoon. Little Olive is already webbing up the entrance to her house.

Little Olive is already webbing up the entrance to her house. Does this mean you and Mrs M now have to come and go through the window? Martin

Sounds a bit Jame Gumb from Silence of the Lambs.
IT PUTS THE LOTION ON IT'S SKIN OR ELSE IT GETS THE HOSE AGAIN.
