A few days ago I watched the brilliant film Groundhog Day on one of the Sky Movies channels and then yesterday I saw on the news that the annual Groundhog Day festival was held. This has always bugged me. Why does a small town in America worship a rat once a year and claim that the thing has predicted six weeks of rain?

Only in America. It is a good film though.

Bill Murray at his best, with a message we should all take time to ponder.

Does this count as necrobumping or is it strangely on topic?

Doc' has a certain wisdom that only comes from living the same day over and over and over...
Doc' IS Bill Murray.

Does this count as necrobumping or is it strangely on topic? Necrobumping. Had he done it on Groundhog Day I would give him more credit.
