For those of us who follow sport and in particular football. I'm supporting Croatia in the tournament, but germany are my pick to win it.

Yeah, the Germans are conistently strong aren't they. Even when they're supposed to be at there worst (Japan/Korea) they still reach the final. I saw a bit of Portugal against Turkey the other night. Portugal looked pretty hot. Yet to see the French, Dutch Itialians and Spanish. Spain are suppose to be on form, and the Dutch are all "it's time we pulled together and showed the world what a Dutch team can do" etc. So exciting stuff!
As for who I'm supporting I haven't made my mind up yet. One of my best mates is Dutch. But Mrs Shockprowl's part German. So what ya gunna do?

Spain will bottle it, the same as they always do.

I am half German, so I guess I go with them.
Felt bad for Austria, they had the run of the ball for the 2nd half of their game against Croatia, and considering they're rank outsiders in the tournament (only qualifying as they're hosting) I thought they did well.

Saw the the Italy-Holand match down the pub and I thought it was pretty good. I've heard some rules-lawyer nonsense yesterday about how the 1st goal was definitely on side.

Nice to see more people here who are behind the Germans. I was born in Germany, so they have always been my second nation, plus it is a great country.
There have been some fairly dull games so far in this tournament, but some cracking goals. The Italy-Holland game was great, as I can't stand the Italians, and Spain delivered big time last night by tearing the Russians apart.
Other than Ibrahimovic's fantastic strike, the Sweden-Grease game last night was very bland, but no where near as dull as the France-Romania game, which was so unbelievably dull.

So far it's been a much better tournament to watch than the last world cup.

This evening I am strangely drawn to the Austria versus Poland match on BBC HD.
The guys on the Polish team are mean!

I'm really enjoying the competition so far. My Dutch mate has convinced me to support Holland. Mrs Shockprowl with her German herritage is going for Germany (not that she partic cares 'bout it at all!). Portugal are looking a decent side I think. Spain looking good, but yeah they usually selfdestruct. If the Dutch can hold it together I think they've got a chance. Much excitement to come me thinks.

I find it refreshing to watch an international football tournament and not have to worry about England being knocked out of it, how relaxing.

This is the best interantional comp I've see in ages! Really enjoyed the quarters! Some great performances. Disapointed Holland lost, but Russia deserved it. Great stuff! Any one of the four semi-finalists could win this. Not sure who I'm supporting though now.

Ive not watched loads mostly the last 30 minutes or so, but Ive enjoyed the comp a lot. Its been nice not having a set favourite just supporting the team who I feel like on the night. England would have been slaughtered if they'd qualified so it was probably for the best they didnt.

Feel gutted for Turkey. Some piss-poor goalkeeping tonight. Although I picked the Germans to win the Tournament before the first game I think Lehmann is there for the taking and he could cost them the trophy.

Yeah I felt sorry for the Turks, they deserved to win. You gotta respect Germany though. They do it time and time again. Supposidly have a rubbish team, and reach the final. Incredible. What's their secret?
Spain/Russia was a good game. Shame Russia didn't play as well as they have had, but Spain were awsome. Can they do it? Really looking forward to the final. Enjoyed this comp very much.
