Mr Barnfather has another one in the pipe: www.amazon.co.uk/Anomaly-Region-0-Multi-Region-DVD/dp/B079J85631KATE LETHBRIDGE-STEWART IS DEAD! Gordon Gordy Lethbridge-Stewart thought he had left the world of his grandfather behind him. As a research scientist, all he was interested in was developing new technologies. Unfortunately, what he doesn t know is that retired UNIT operative Captain Douglas Cavendish has given him alien technology to develop his ideas with ... and that leads to a great deal of trouble indeed! Trouble that forces Kate Lethbridge-Stewart to make a life or death choice! In this fast paced sequel to both DAEMOS RISING and the DOCTOR WHO story THE TIME MONSTER, it s difficult to tell if reality is ... well ...real! Time itself it being manipulated and it s already run out more than once!

Season 10 BR set is now out of print. Only came out last month so it seems BBC Worldwide haven't learned their lesson in terms of availability. I noticed the prices shifting last week and stuck an order in quick, fortunately it's just arrived intact but I see new copies on Amazon marketplace have already shot up to £120. That means of the four BR sets released so far, none are now available to buy at retail price.

I shake my head at BBC Worldwide. They're leaving money on the table.

He hopes the out of print box sets are re-issued. He does not care if they are in different packaging. -Ralph

Good find!
An HMV as well as the set. I haven't seen an HMV for ages.

I've been watching the Dalek 6388 episodes on the Planet Supreme Dalek www.youtube.com/watch?v=sy1DAsAbHc0www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYpjJ07gDuMWhich got me thinking...... do we know who's inside it? There's three Dalek operators credited for Planet: John Scott Martin, Cy Town & Murphy Grumbar. But the DWAS production file lists an additional operator for episode 6: Tony Starr, who'd been a supporting artist previously and would be a regular Dalek operator later in the series. I'm tempted - on the grounds that he's in one episode, the Supreme's in one episode and they're the same one episode - to say he's in The Supreme, but can't find anywhere that says yay or nay.... That then led me onto Tony Starr's previous credits on the show: a Fish People in Underwater Menace and a Mine Worker/Citizen in the Macra Terror and a British Soldier in The War Games. But I can also see a Tony Starn listed against Mission to the Unknown as a Varga Plant. That's his only IMDB entry - www.imdb.com/name/nm2274159/ - which make me wonder if Starn is a misprint, or similar, for Starr and the two actors are one and the same...... Any offers?

M'learned colleague Mr David Brunt, of production subtitle fame, confirms Tony Starr is the Supreme Dalek in episode 6 of Planet for all but the final scene with the Tardis: that was recorded in an earlier recording block and the Supreme is John Scott Martin there.
Mystery solved

Watched 'Looking for Lennie' on the S10 Blu-ray. Superb stuff. Is there a guide anywhere on-line as to what is new in the set? My dvd's are in storage so can't check. The booklet does not say what is new to this set!
I managed 5 mins of the Behind the Sofa crap. Pish about people on couches gurning. Unwatchable!

The breakdowns in DWM explain what's new and what isn't.

I recycle my DWM's. I foolishly thought the product booklet would say what is new.

I wish I could let go my DWMs and recycle them. I'd save a lot of space. I used to have 30+ year continuous run but eventually ran out of space. Most went to Oxfam, now I recycle recent ones. It was hard to part with them but just no room to keep them all. Kept a few ones as examples of eras. -Ralph

I must do that to avoid the trauma of it selling out. If you register for zoom.co.uk's newsletter they send you a 10% off code for your next order, which would get that set down to £35 posted.

I am resigned to having missed the first three releaded sets due to the idiotic release policy of this series on Blu Ray. I may miss out on future ones as I can't always have money aside for when they come out...but I am not missing out on HD Valeyard!!!

I watched the Dalek videos.
Wow.
That's some research right there. "you can tell Dalek #4 because of the slight dent in it's dome" The mind boggles!
