Dont think Ive seen that episode, but I can well imagine that it might be an exemption.

Dont think Ive seen that episode, but I can well imagine that it might be an exemption. Monk needs to pass a police fitness course. So while investigating an attempted murder of a boxer, said boxer starts training him.

Does Worf ever refer to Quark as anything but "the Ferengi Barkeep"?
I love the animosity in his voice when ever he talks about him.

I don't think so? But I know he freaks out a little when he meets Quark's klingon wife.
I still think the best scene in all of Trek, is when Quark has the Klingon High Council doing finance math.

A better show would have had Kim calling Tom, Turkey Platter for the rest of the run

Holy fuck! Janeway was called out for being insane and later actually admitted it. Admittedly only after stripping Chakotay of his rank.
I think that might be the first time Ive seen part 2 of Equinox. I was on holiday and the vcr failed when it was first shown.

After a fairly strong run through seasons 4 and 5 it seems for 6, Voyager is doing an impression of TNG season 7, but obviously worse.

Oh my god! They are doing a Tuvix v2.0. And its only vaguely an improvement* on v1.0.
*Hes not dragged to sickbay at gunpoint and new Tuvok isnt as useful to the ships operation as old Tuvok. Its still pretty weak justification.

Just to show Im not completely biased, I'm declaring Time's Orphan to be even more fucked up than Tuvok. It does at least try justifying its actions and use a cheat to give it a happy ending, but if things had gone to plan...damn!

Oh crap! Fairhaven. This is going to be rough.

Fortunately, I think Fairhaven is only used two or three times. (I can only think of two seperate episodes)
I think Voyager got the open holoprogram right in the first season, with the poolhall. It was relatively simple, and didn't push the believability of what the holodeck should be able to do, unlike Fairhaven and the resort (more what it's implied to do than what is shown, with the resort. Two people shouldn't be able to do two different activities a half mile apart. It's still a finite space, after all. But all three treks are equally guilty of this)

I hope so, I remember it seeming to be used forever.
Actually the first use isnt as terrible as I remember. And at least they got all the way to season 6 before the first doomed (ish) love episode for Janeway.
The mechanics of the holodeck and the replicators makes no sense to me. How are the replicators are rationed, but the holodecks are in almost permenant use? Also at one point a while back Janeway insisted Chakotay recycle a replicated gift to "save" energy. Hot would that save energy? I just dont get it.
Photon Torpedos. They start out with 30 something of them and are very careful to ration them (though they seem to abandoon that point somewhere after Seven joins). So does that means they cant replicate them or make new ones? But at the same time they must have lost at least 2 shuttles a season and yet are fully stocked at the start of season 6. Im surprised they didn't start firing shuttlecraft at enemy ships.
Its shame they didn't have Rom onboard, then they could have had self replicating torpedos.
Oh and I forgot Troi appeared. Counting Picard that means shes been in 4 shows, putting her near the top of the cameo charts. Go Troi!

Worf and O'brien get the most appearances, But both only appear in 2 shows. 3 for Worf if you include Dorn playing Grandaddy Worf in Undiscovered Country.
But Riker was in all 3 TNG shows (though I cant remember if Will Riker appeared in DS9 or if it was just Thomas) plus Enterprise and Picard.
At least to the best of my recollection.

It was Thomas Riker in DS9. You can tell by the menacing way he removes the sides of his beard.

The biggest problem with Trek tech is that at no point did any writer, producer, or showrunner sit down and set up a bible of soft rules to issue to the myriad of writers passing through. Then writers come in without really having a basic understanding how the various things really work. Something that really bugs me about Trek is the concept of beaming through an enemy's shields if you know their frequency, but not being able to beam through your own under any circumstances.

I couldn't remember if Will had appeared as well. I was a little surprised how many cameos there were back and forth. I *think* Will appeared on a vid screen when someone tried to contact the Enterprise. But I don't think he ever appeared in person, like Thomas did. Does Trials and Tribblations count as appearing in a TOS episode, or no? When they were remastering TOS, I do wish they did a third version of Trouble with Tribbles, with the DS9 crew inserted into the backgrounds.

That would have been glorious.
I leant towards no. If anything its a TOS cameo in DS9. Which would have been nice for Uhura as the only TOS lead not to ever make a cameo elswhere.

Captain Worf must keep Michael Dorn at the apex of show numbers... And I forgot about Majel Barrett. She appeared or was heard in every series up to and including the Kelvin movies. And she tops the appearances chart too thanks to how often she voiced the computer.

About 44 hours I think. I might be down to about 40-42 hours now.
..... that may not be enough time...... Should I delay Picard till saturday?........
I could save some more time by only watching the flashbacks of the 2009 movie.
