It seems that FPI aren't doing themselves any favours at the moment!

My hc arrived quickly and thanks to it's hardcover goodness wasn't damaged. Still waiting on my paperback Second Generation though.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of order are people arranging the Titan trades in? I originally opted for something resembling chronological, but that looked funny so I have US then UK, but the UK ones in release order due to the multi-part article. Oh and then the black and white pocket books on the end.

In my case the US trades are organised in story-flow order, and on the other end of the shelf are the UK trades normally organised in story flow order.
This is, of course, subject to some variation as when I remove them to have a read through they don't always go back in the right order. So they generally get re-sorted every couple of weeks when I pull everything off the shelves to dust.

I've got the colour Titan UK books on one shelf in order of comic book chronology (not the order in which the TPB's were released) and the US books on another shelf again in the same chronology as the original comic books.

It is really poor for a company who specialises in comics and graphic novels to be unable to pack them correctly, something even the simplest ebayer can do. By contrast, I won a copy of Fallen Angel off a chap on ebay for £3 plus postage. It arrived within 3 days. Sure it had a few dents as you would expect from a second-hand copy of these hard to keep in good nick books. But it had been packed to absolute destruction. No force in the universe was going to add any additional dents to it! Meanwhile, FPI have taken 10 days thus far to dispatch a book. -Ralph

Last year I brought a second-hand softback copy of the TPB Primal Scream without realising that I already had it. I still have it and if anybody needs it for their collection PM me and they can have it.

Amusingly, a second copy of Legacy of Unicron turned up from FPI today anyway. Read it back to back with Fallen Angel. At £3 a pop (rather than the RRP of £15) I can forgive the shoddy repro much more easily and concentrate on the stories themselves. A great, thumping good read, well chosen selection of high energy fun, which work surprisingly well when read together and away from the original context.

I got Prey off ebay today. The seller wrapped it up really well.
However, the postman obviously didn't want to put it in the letterbox, so he just left it in the bin outside.

Some research shows Space Pirates, Dinobot Hunt and Time Wars are all impossible to get (even the IDW version of Time Wars: go look it up at Amazon), so very happy to see IDW doing an omnibus of them later in the year. I'll be having that, to have on the shelf.
RE: Titan's Prey trade. Thinking of picking it up. Anyone know the full run-down of what's inside?
Still waiting on Second Generation. Grrrr.

Prey parts 1 and 2 will obviously be in issue 1 as for the others I'm guessing that it will be the issues that were printed after Prey like The Harder They Die, Under Fire and also Distant Thunder. Because Prey featured the Predacons I half expect stories like What's In A Name and Grudge Match to also feature somewhere along the line.

I've got that TPB and I used that as a reference to guesstimate what was in IDW's upcoming Best of UK comics.

Second Generation arrived inside a Torchwood bag which was inside a jiffy bag, which was inside another jiffy bag.
Arrived in pristine condition. FPI you are saved...this time!

FPI should rename themselves Jiffy Bag World!

Oh for fuck sakes!
The first clue Second Generation was 2nd hand was the wear to the front and back covers.
The second clue was the price sticker for a discount store (not FP) stuck on the cover.
The third clue was the page where Simon Furman has signed 'To Wiggles, best: Simon Furman'.
Cue another complaint to FPI, pointing out I had paid for a new copy, not a 2nd hand one. At least ebay sellers are honest.
For a company specialising in this kind of thing, they really are clueless.

If it is signed by the Furmanator himself then maybe you can sell it on Ebay for a decent enough price.

Wiggles must be found...no matter the cost.
I just hope it's not a pet name The Furman has for Andy Wildman or something like that
