I believe Martin over Phil. -Ralph Even though my catalogue image shows the part in place, with an extra ramp attached that you can't use with the production Groundshaker? We all know that catalogues can show prototypes/earlier versions that were never released! Plans change! -Ralph

I've only ever interacted with any of these Micromaster bases by looking at these catalogue pictures. And now it turns out... they're all lies? My world is shaken. It's worse if you're a Rock Lords fan. The catalogue shows the combiner Rockasaurus Rex thus: The actual toy released looked like this: Martin

I can see that we will need separate photos of the actual Micromaster pilots when we get to these in the Subgroup polls! Oh and my Groundshaker ATB only has one red panel side too.

I probably should get some pics while MM are on my mins Oh and my Groundshaker ATB only has one red panel side too. All the production toys are like that. Yet looking at the catalogue, it's obvious that wasn't the intention.

Phil's new acquisition - and one off the year's goals list No Micromasters - but they're recolours and occasionally come up separately, but if anyone has an orphaned Retro and Surge they would like to rehome.... - and no ramps - of which I have in abundance. Missiles are a tad yellowed in places but I can live with that for now. Love the robot animal face on the cockpit behind the missiles! One of the black pieces that folded out to the sides was v stiff and made a scary noise! So pleased. Just the Tanker Transport to go I hadn't realised quite how well these could be connected! Obviously two can connect front to back, with a Micromaster ramp, as a road straight through: But they can also connect without a ramp, and with just a small gap, using the Micromaster Combiner Connectors which are used to attach their Micromasters: The front units also have side ramp connectors on each side which increase the options: And then you can couple the base halves, mixing and matching fronts and backs: And fronts & fronts and backs & backs Phil may have to buy more

For quite simple cheap toys, there is a LOT of play value with the Combiner Transports and so many different modes.

Eeey the cannon transport! Have you got Cement Head?

Got Cement Head & Terror Tread for the Cannon Transport: just one ramp short
For the Missile Launcher I need Retro, Surge and both ramps.
For the Tanker Truck, with Pipeline and Gusher, I need EVERYTHING

Does anyone know if the Sixbuilder reissue was ever knocked off at regular size and colour?
Or were the real toys ever released without faction symbols?

And, thanks to two different spelling mistakes while searching for this thread, I've corrected all the posts referring to Micomasters and Mircomasters. Mostly my own ....

Right. Ironworks might just be the finest toy ever made. I am in love.

It's a real shame that the alternate modes for the bases don't have ramp connector points in the right places to link them up. Ironworks' radar station is just beautiful. Much nicer to display than the construction station.

I thought I'd posted this picture in this thread, but it looks like it went somewhere else. Actually, I may not have done because this looks like Skystalker before I reprolabelled him. But, for the sake of completeness, this was the Decepticon side of Phase One of Pinwig's Micromaster Mission:

But today... PHASE TWO is complete! Hothouse and Ironworks via Toy Fu, Race Car Patrol from the Spacebridge... Airwave via Toy Fu, Sports Car Patrol from the Spacebridge and... new arrival Greasepit via eBay yesterday!

How many of those quad lasers does Greasepit come with? This one has two, but I can't see anywhere for another one to peg in. Do I just have a duplicate because the seller pieced a complete one together from bits?
It's in great condition, as good as the Toy Fu sets. Very happy.
This means I must move into PHASE THREE. I am in need of Erector, Flattop, Overload and the Battle and Rescue Patrols to complete the 1989 Micromaster range.

I'm feeling a new list coming on to help me learn the micro names. Moulds, repaints and Siege equivalents. My head wants to know how all this shakes out.
Are all the original six patrols different moulds, with the ones that come with the playsets repaints? Except Countdown?

Wow, 1989 you beauty. 6x4 original moulds for figures sold four in a pack for pocket money prices! However that does make me feel that Skystalker should have been unique like Countdown.
