The Humanoid mode does look a lot like BM Skydive - which I think is great. I quite liked Skydive' aesthetics.
Not so fond of black-and-gold Bumblebee. I don't think it really suits the mold.

It also seems a bit pointless considering in the only episode so far with BB in the elite guard (unless its in the final two episodes) hes has the same yellow colour scheme, but Cliffjumper and Wasp both appear in the same type of body as BB so it wouldnt be a stretch for either to have the same earth form as him.

Swoop is growing on me. I'm confused though. Are there two colours for Swoop - regular and elite guard?
Elite Guard Bumblebee looks fine in vehicle mode but doeasn't work for me in robot mode, particularly on the head. Something about the colour scheme is off. I've had a play of the regular flavour toy and it's nice enough but the character in the show annoys me so much I doubt I'll buy the toy!

Good lord, War Within Grimlock looks mince in tank mode. Nice to see Robot Heroes Blaster has yellow eyes- he's clearly the Budiansky iteration! Blitzwing is a wee bit lacking aesthetically, but I bet he's fun to transform. -Nick

Is it possible Shockwave has two faces on the toy? I can't imaging Hasbro would do that to you.

I don't really like the look of that Shockwave toy. To me it looks more like an animated version of movie Frenzy than Shockwave.

RTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARARARAAGHHGGHGHGHGHGH! -Ralph Look on the bright side - it will help with his depth perception. Possible explanation- read on for possible Animated spoilers - just in case you haven't seen the full season. I think the Shockwave toy will be also used as Longarm Primes toy as well- since they are the same person, therefore the two eyes for when he's longarm, and there'll be a function to conceal them when he's Shockwave

Hmm, I like some of these, not so fussed about others. Animated Shockwave does absolutely nothing for me I'm afraid. Neither mode particularly inspire any reaction in me. I feel much the same about Longarm as well. The darker coloured repaint of Megatron looks quite good though - not as good as the grey version, but if they must repaint it (and they must or stores won't stock it) then that scheme is a decent way to do it. Karl Ralph, calm yourself. I've seen the episode that reveals Shockwave (from Longarm, natch). The big red thing is his eye, and one there is. The two bright marks underneath are holdovers from the Longarm head, and are not his eyes. Seriously. I'm quite impressed by Longarm/Shockwave, myself. They've managed to get two vehicles and two quite distinctive robots out of a single mould. And yes, Shockwave has one eye. One eye and a truly epic chin in the fine Animated tradition. -Nick

Urgh... Can anyone offer up some advice on the differences between the Prime/Megs two pack vs Voyager Prime and Voyager Megs (other than the size difference and battle damage)? I'm in the market for some Prime/Megs action and can't decide wether the extra £20 is worth it

I'd take the two pack as I dont think Voyager Megatron is significantly bigger and better than than the deluxe version. In fact I think the deluxe is a far better toy and pretty cool looking. Deluxe Prime is also very good, but I dont have Voy Prime so I cant compare. In terms of differences I cant remember whether the 2 pack prime is the cybertronian mode or Earth so that might be a factor.

2-pack is quite fun. I've had a shot at the Voyager Megatron and didn't think it was good: rather unweildy arm cannon and the robot mode lacks a certain something. Not had a shot of Voyager Prime as yet.

Not got the Voyagers, but the 2 pack Megatron is a bit rubbish. The transformed mode is a bit silly. Prime is nice, but I've not got any other versions of him either.

Sidecar Samurai Armor Prowl- Has this been officially announced by Hasbro or is it just a rumour?
I'm about to get a DLX Prowl, but if this is coming out, I'll probably wait.
More coming soon.

It's mentioned on the transformers Wiki, but I think it's just rumour.
Another question... I can't find Wave 1/2 deluxes in TRU... Which is a shame as I was planning to pick them up as part of the 3 for 2. Anyone know if TRU are likely to get a restock of these??

Well I was in Gloucester today and managed to pop in to the TRU there. Managed to snag a Ratchet and Cybertronian Prime... They had Black Arachnia and Bumblebee too, but I'd just ordered them from somewhere else so had to get Oil Slick instead. Not one I was intending to get, but I guess it was free, right? (Also apparantly the writers/designers like the design so are possibly going to introduce him in a future series).
Next question... erm, not sure. I'll think of one.
