I felt that too. I don't get why they think it's so good. It's so generic with nothing original going on.
Dredd at the moment though, significant event being presented in a very insignificant way. It's unnerving the way a big event is happening like it's daily routine. Almost feels like a trick.

Dredd: Machine Law That news broadcast.... I thought the mission to retrieve Fargo was secret?
Chief Judge Logan..... Oh dear, this won't end well. I love Logan as a supporting character, I really do. But this is waaaay above his level. He'd evidentially gone to seed a bit as a Sector Chief, and this is probably a step to far, especially putting Harvey on the council. I can see it blowing up in his face very quickly.
But it's evident from Dominion that sometime soon the Fab Four will be on their way back to Mega City One and I can see Logan completely freezing confronted with them again. The thought is also there "what would they do with Robot Judges?" I see a dark path ahead and I don't see Logan making it out intact Cover spoilers for Meg 405 doing the rounds, those who haven't read Meg 404 do so asap!

{Spoiler}I don;t think Logan has gone to seed and neither did Dredd and co, otherwise neither would have endorsed him as Chief Judge,
Though I agree I don't think he's long for the role. I still think we are going to see a Chief Judge Dredd for a brief spell though. It won't be his choice, but he'll have no alternative.

Caught up on the last 8 issues of Tooth this evening. Fabulous stuff. Only the steaming shit that is Skip Tracer is letting the side down.
I have read Meg #404. Decent issue though I remain puzzled as to why Phil was so frantic about me reading it. #405 is here to read this week. Comes with a FREE GIFT. Just like olden times!

Well obviously there's the return of the gentleman at the end of Dominion.
But have a think about the chap who bought him aboard.... Does he look quite right? I mean this is someone with some experience of working with the dead fluids. Someone who's walked around with a Dark Judge inside him. Someone who appears to have altered Justice Dept records and assumed the identity of the real Sabatini.
Could it, perhaps, be someone we've seen before?

No he appears to be a completely new character.

He isn't.
Several of us have come up with the same name upthread.

We all are in agreement we think it's an established character. Maybe you can hazard a guess?

The clues: - Assumed Sabatini's identity - it's clearly not the same man on the ship as in the video
- Altered Justice Dept records to enable this to happen
- Presumably broken Judge Fear out the facility he was being held in - that's going to take some doing in itself
- Known how to work with the Dead Fluids
- These last two points indicate a previous association with the Dark Judges
- Hershey appears to twig who it is during 404, note her explanation when looking at screen
It's a very short list of suspects Burns.... and in just under two hours time we'll know for sure.

It's being teased as something big with a FIFTH Dark Judge so I would before the web spoils it for you.

2000AD Spoilers If they really are killing off Hershey then I think there's mileage in her doing this 'tour of the provinces' idea as an actual strip. She's a significant figure in the history of the series and at the moment her apparent exit seems to be too low key to me.

Bugger. Wasn't who I thought. I guess he really is dead after all. I think there's still some questions that need to be answered there: - How did he escape from the Dark Judges?
- Where were the diary entries during Ladykiller?
- What was the voice in "PJ"'s Head done in Dark Judge Black Background and speaking in a manner similar to PJ?
I've no doubt we will at some point come back to them. Having him be Sabatini ticked a large number of boxes - see the list a few posts up - plus filled a number of holes in the his story. OTOH I suspected I knew where they were going with Sabatini, even before Nick Percival's Tweet and am rather glad that one of our favourite characters didn't suffer that fate. Judge Whisper: have we seen a prior version of this character on Deadworld? Sabatini being Sabatini removes the need for an identity swap but even so Justice Dept records were still hacked in order to rank him as fit for duty. Then there's the matter of how Fear was sprung - I can see that just about being in the capability of a Psi, but both of these feats would appear to require an advanced tech knowledge which I'm not sure I see him having. It wouldn't surprise me to find he had assistance somewhere along the line. Can anyone remember which Prog had the "Fear in custody" story as that now requires a re-read.

Regards Hershey.
The fact we've had it dropped in such an off-hand fashion tells me we will revisit that on a grander scale later.

Skip Tracer needs to go away. Jaegir is utterly gripping.
