Couldn't read tooth last week because it was late arriving so I've had the pleasure of reading two together today. Superb ending to Machine Law. What a story!

Also - re this week's Dredd.
Logan is a lame duck Chief Judge walking, whatever big event happens next he's toast.

And I think we can guess what that is, given the Megazine.
Which is why it needed to be Logan, because he's going to freeze as soon as they show up.

I honestly hope it's not them.
Unless we get something different with them this time.

Bit concerned about the reader on the letters page who doesn't understand what fascism is! Jeebus.

So Torture Garden in the Meg. {Spoiler}Hershey's "I'm fine" at the end of this chapter, coupled with the revelations regarding her health in Machine Law, there has to be some kind of connection there.

Wasn't initially a fan of Henry Flint on his early Dredd and Rogue Trooper stuff. He seemed to level up when he did Nemesis and then ABC Warriors. Now an absolute highlight of 2000ad/Megazine.

Postie delivered this week's sub...along with someone else's. There is no commonality in name, street or door number. Tharg will be displeased.

Happens often enough to be noticeable that. Although I'd have thought the new plastic they're using on the wrapper is less likely to stick together than the old. Obviously not!

Well this week's issue was using the previous style of plastic wrapper!

I noticed John Higgins's cover to prog 533 among the new t-shirt designs advertised in the prog recently. That was the first issue of 2000AD I bought, so I had to have that. Arrived today. I remember gazing at that cover art thinking it was the most mind blowing thing I'd ever seen, just like it was yesterday. And how that tiny pile of progs I bought over the next few weeks felt so grown up. Going to be wearing it with real pride. Expect it on next meet up!

Found the paperback of 'The Cursed Earth Uncensored' in my local second hand bookstores. Considering that the other purchase that day was a copy of 'Pride and Prejudice', I'm sure I got weird looks.

Latest Hachette is Strontium Dog again - covering the last of Rage up to the end of Bitch. Next volume will be the last slab of Carlos on Strontium Dog until we get to the post Prog 2000 era stuff.
