Think this is the final story for Judge Pin unless they've been fibbing to us.

I worry it is a final story for Dredd. Somehow. Could be interesting though if they go down that route.
Still not sure about Mrs M getting a pet snail at the same time as last week's Dredd strip came out...

No, I don't think we are quite there yet.
We'd need to build Rico back up a bit in prominence, the Logan/Mechanismo thing and Sons of Booth are all in the way and of course he'll have to be made Chief Judge first.

I can see a path from Logan to the Dark Judges showing up and things going badly.
Rico was about a couple of weeks ago, his first appearance since Every Empire Falls. Before that, he was in the last part of Day of Chaos returning from the Cursed Earth where he'd been since Tour of Duty.

Exactly, he's been a bit out of the loop for Dredd to be on his outs.
I'd rather we didn't see the Dark Judges back. Death on his own maybe, but the others - nah they are done.

My last four issues suffered during a rainpocalypse. I shall have to replace them. Though, overall, the Weekly is not that fab right now, Dredd aside. Indigo Prime is completely incomprehensible and Absalom has jumped the shark big time. Previous series were ok but this one is shite! Thistlebone is ok: nowt wrong with it, just not to my personal taste. Anderson is fine. -Ralph

In general, I find that writer's stuff to be pretty poor on everything. He seems to lack the ability to connect a story from one panel to the next. I always get the feeling I am reading random highlights from a book someone else has and is keeping the full contents secret.

Put together a cbz of Judge Pin's previous appearances today 2035-6 The Fields 2073-4 Fit For Purpose Really should have done that before. Hadn't recognised McV at the end of Control part 1: he was the Judge who Pin apprehended in The Fields and whose cadet she killed.

I cannot believe you poured scorn on my theory last night! Dredd is really just a head. And nearby there is a mech with no head. Perhaps the two will wed?

Have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the end of the Judge Pin story. Suddenly the ground is very unstable and the mech stomps through it freeing Dredd?

I thought it was a huge anti climax. You could see last week that his shoulder was coming free, so it was obvious he was going to get out, but given how good Rob Williams' stories are and the build up to this one, nothing of note happened. I was surprised it was five parts; I was expecting a twist and another few parts. Disappointing in as much as it was just a run of the mill Dredd tale where he offs the perp at the end. Also I thought there was way too much of his face visible in the hospital bed at the end.

{Spoiler}I'm glad that Judge Pin is done. Again, it's a smaller part of what I think is a larger tale. Dredd's lost another ally as well. He's becoming increasingly isolated within the justice department of late.

Case Files 34 Cover www.amazon.co.uk/Judge-Dredd-Case-Files-34/dp/1781086915/Unfortunately the text is wrong: we know the volumes starts 1250. Slightly shorter creators list than the one Amazon had too There's some info to be gleaned from the 34 solicitation aboveTo have a Jock drawn issue the volume needs to contain Prog 1273 Safe Hands. To have a Wayne Reynolds drawn issue it needs Meg 4.09 which means the voulmes includes 4.07-4.08 Flippers. Pete Doherty means EITHER Meg 4.09 Dead Lost In Mega - City One and/or 1275 Born Under A Bad Sign. 4.10 isn't in there, no Mike Collins in the Art list Rob McCallum means 1279 Wallcrawlers is in the book - it's the only Dredd he did. So Progs - up 1279 Megs at least 4.08, possibly 4.09 Confirmed Case Files 34 Contents: Progs 1250-1275Helter Skelter (1250-1261) (The Carlos Ezquerra Collection) Married With Juves (1262) On the Chief Judge’s Service (1263-1266) (Chief Judge's Man) Couch Potatoes (1267) Lost In Cyberspace (1268-1270) (309 Judge Dredd The Ian Gibson Collection) Driving Desire (1271) (The XXX Files) Cheating Drokkers (1272) (The XXX Files) The Student Prince (2002) (The Art of Kenny Who) Safe Hands (1273) (275 Jock Collection.cbz) Terrorist! (1274) Born Under A Bad Sign (1275) Megs 4.01-4.064.01-4.03 The Bazooka (reprinted The Art of Kenny Who?) 4.03 Leaves of Grass 4.04 Bad Manners (reprinted When Judges Go Bad/286 Bad Manners) 4.05 Asylum (reprinted Cry of the Werewolf) 4.06 Who Killed Jon Lenin? So 35 - spring 2020 - looks something like: Progs 1276-1301A Walk In The Park (1276) First Blood (1277) Unnatural Selection (1278) Wallcrawlers (1279) Leaving Rowdy (1280) (Brothers of the Blood) End of the Affair (1281) (Brothers of the Blood) It's Deja Vu all over again (1282-1283) (The Art of Kenny Who) Block Court (1284) (The Art of Kenny Who) Escape From Atlantis (1285-1287) Satan’s Last Assault On Grud’s Kingdom (1288) Sin City (1289-1299) (Satan's Island) A Right Royal Occasion (1293) Blood & Duty (1300-1301) (Brothers of the Blood) Megs 4.07-4.114.07-4.08 Flippers (reprinted 286 Bad Manners) 4.09 Dead Lost In Mega - City One 4.10 Useless 4.11 Necrophage 36 - Autumn 2020 - then gets a bit nasty with the progs: A Tree Grows In Elia Kazan (1302) Case For The Defence (1303) (Satan's Island) Give Me Liberty (1304-1305) Rotten Manners (1306-1307) (286 Judge Dredd Bad Manners) Voices Off (1308) (301_Mick McMahon Collection) An Everyday Disaster (1309) Class Project (1310) Zoom Time (1311) Waiting (1312) Out of the Undercity (1313-1316) (Cry of the Werewolf) Reprisal (1317) (Satan's Island) Open Justice (1318) After Hours (1319) Dead Funny (1320) Sniping (1321) Judge Dredd vs. Aliens: Incubus (2003, 1322-1335)
The traditional 26 issues places it right in the middle of Incubus in Prog 1328! I'll be interested to see what they do here! Split it like the pit? Don't print it, cos of rights?
