Though I did think the Meg was meant to have a PJ Maybe floppy with it? The Powers That Be must have realised such a floppy would have crashed sales of the Meg! -Ralph

Decent lineup.
Glad to see Tharg is back for FCBD.
Decent lineup as well.

Am I reading that right? the FCBD issue is all reprint material except for the lead Dredd strip?

Looks like it but as it's a zero issue for Best of 2000ad it's not a surprise.

No, exactly. I'm surprised it isn't all reprint, but if there's an original strip in there I must seek that one out. Confusing having a 'Best Of' issue with new material in.

The reprints are mostly from specials and annuals rather than from the prog itself. Waiting to see what they’ll include in the new reprint series.

But will it compel you to buy the 'Best Of' series?

Unlikely. This side of the pond we've got the bagged floppies for that. I don't need a third copy of the same stories taking up space.

A sad loss.
First saw her work on the Coleby era Friday Rogue Trooper series.

Coming to the end of a Christmas catchup of issues since the last jumping on point (2150). Both Dredd stories were great, Brink is as good as always, Defoe was tolerable but I think that's strayed so far from its original remit now that it needs to end. Deadworld I think I need to go right back to the beginning of to actually understand. Just Hope to go. Looking forward to that because I liked the first one a lot.
Megazine - err, no idea what's going on with any of that. Needs a restart issue soon to clear the decks, but Damnation Station in the bagged floppy was a worthwhile re-read and the return of Lawless bodes well for the New Year. The subscriber poster prog was nice simply to see Will Simpson art again.

this just looks like a bit of a reissuing of the hachette collection?

Dimensions sound a bit bigger than the Hachette books.
It's America so of course I will end up buying it again.

I'd imagine so.
America and Origins are good primers for the world of Dredd.

this just looks like a bit of a reissuing of the hachette collection? Different dimensions, paperback, different extra contents/page count, different cover, new colouring and aimed at book store market rather than newsstands. -Ralph
