Gah. That's going to be a thing isn't it. I'm quite regretting passing on figures like TR Getaway and Quake now because it's looking like their groups might get completed. If we get Slapdash we'd only be short Joyride for all seven original Powermasters in a modern generations form. I didn't buy Blackwing either.

But but but..
I... I see what you mean, but they're not close enough!
I'm rambling, been a long day. Let me explain
Headmaster Quake looked gorgeous (I saw him in a shop and NEARLY bought him 'cos I had Quake as a child). But he's in a Headmaster, not a 'correct' new version of the character.
I dunno, maybe they'd work...
Again with the rambling...

No, you're right, they aren't. Darkwing and Dreadwind are too small for a start and the Deluxe Powermasters wouldn't look right to me with the Whopper Takara Ginrai I have. The question of them being done properly though seems remote - even the Headmasters are stuck being deluxes now.

I always felt that updated head/targetmasters need to exist at multiple pricepoints.
These guys should all be Voyagers- Skullcruncher Apeface Snapdragon Quake Hardhead Hosehead Landfill
Could be either deluxe or voyager- Spinister Needlenose Cyclonus Horri-Bull Squeezeplay Highbrow Crosshairs Scoop Quickmix
Everyone else IMO is fine as a deluxe.

I do love a themed mini display though.
We've almost got all the Godmasters - I reckon TR Overlord, PotP Dreadwind and Blackwing, Earthrise Doubledealer would look good together. Then Powermaster Prime with Getaway and the two missing Autobot Powermasters would balance that up nicely.

We’ve got a fair few Masterforce now, which is one of the reasons I’m annoyed the Seacons were out of my price point.

That Slapdash looks great, and as everyone says, is totally logical. I therefore look forward to Hasbro never releasing that variant. After all, they've already had three reuses out of that one mold, why bother with another..?

Thankfully I don't see Hasbro ever doing that because if they did I'd be in trouble...

He de-policed the car. Wouldn't it have been easier, I wonder, to just swap the bits needed for Bluestreak, over onto a copy of Deadend?

That is exactly how I think the pretenders should have been handled.

Yes! And that Landmine's great. Although possibly better would have been if the vehicles could have been scaled such that the humanoid shells could have driven them - but that would probably have never been practical, so this would've been a good halfway compromise.

Yes, those Pretenders are brilliant and how they should have been done (in fact it makes more sense than the original idea). I would make the Titan master robot look like the bigger robot colour wise though.

I don't see the point of Pretender robots that don't fit in shells. Aren't they then just regular Transformers?

But the robot is just a transtector. The transformer is the head unit, which hides in the shell to pretend to be human/monster.
Makes more sense than 20' humans, or mass shifting.
