This week has seemingly gone by quite quickly.

Hope the you start to do a bit better soon Phil.
I haven't had as bad a week as I thought I was going to at the beginning of proceedings. Still, it is nice that tomorrow is Friday - meaning that I soon won't have to answer to the alarm clock for a couple of days. Today started off pretty well though - there was a good thick mist cloaking the area and making things look interesting, and I had a personal appointment that meant I was not in the office until 11am. Then I managed to time things right so I had barely a couple of minutes to wait for my train home, exactly the way I want it.
Looking forward to the weekend though, Cinema trip planned and some good reading that I am hoping to finish off, and not too much housework needing to be done either - freeing me up to have a really good lie-in all being well.

Keep texting me when you can, Phil Dug out lots more Tranzine material and other non-TF stuff for rearranging (as I now have a filing cabinet). Highlights Transformers-wise include: Turn N Burn's Armada Issue 1 (still fresh as a daisy), Transtext issue 1, various Auto Update issues, Transforce 2000 convention magazine (gotta love Combat Colin) and more issues of my personal favourite The Informer (1992 editions). The Informer really lives up to its name. It was as much an info zine as it was a newsletter. Still trying to find my old AusTrans stuff.

And so begins another week at KAUST. Had formal lab training today at the CSOB, which I think stands for Central Services Office Building. It's about as Central to the campus as Easter Island is to Nicaragua so I had a pleasant mile walk there and back across a soon-to-be construction site (or bare patch of desert to give it its traditional name). We have a seminar this afternoon, then hopefully the work will really get started. I have to email my biofuels lecturer to see if he knows of any internship positions that might be available.

Very tense the last few days and finding it very hard to relax and think of other things, which then annoys me and I get more tense, etc. Damn it. I'll go see the ducks.

Had to be carried out of church this morning, not good. Better but still wobbly. An afternoon in bed to get me match fit for projecting the prayer meeting tonight and doing the test of the bits we'v bought to put a wii through the church projector.

That doesn't sound pleasant Phil. Hope you are feeling a bit better.
I have not had a productive weekend, but mostly through deciding to throw in the towel and just take the weekend off from doing things - so I have read, gone to a museum and had a trip to the cinema. Seems to have done the trick in that I feel much more sanguine about the fact that it is Monday and back to work tomorrow.

Feel better soon, Phil.
I can't shift this tension in my body at all. Feels like my shoulders are seizing up. May have a shifty at my work diary and try to arrange an extra day off in the next couple of weeks and plan a wee day trip.

Hope you feel better soon Phil. You too Ralph.
I've had a comparatively good week. It's been the first of the year I haven't been ill or exhausted from being ill. I finally got to doing some of my training course and even found a job to apply for. Until I find out I didn't get or I till my interview date I even have a deadline to complete the course work by. I work better with deadlines so that makes me very happy.
