If you zoom in on the tape on the sticker - around the AN - it looks like Impactors legs on the cover if it was removed from the left hand side. #82

If you zoom in on the tape on the sticker - around the AN - it looks like Impactors legs on the cover if it was removed from the left hand side. #82 The tape has decayed through the cover, so it's probably just the logo on the other side you're seeing, rather than Impactor's legs. I dunno for definite how the stickers were attached originally, as I wasn't buying the comic at the time. And it may have been different depending on your news agent.

Sorry to resurrect a zombie thread but there's an interesting discussion going on on the TFW2005 boards at the moment about the free gifts.
Apparently, there's a lot of evidence to suggest that the Prime and Megatron stickers free with UK#16-17 were in fact randomly packed. As well as photos of the comics with the 'wrong' stickers on, there is also anecdotal evidence of kids rifling through the piles of TF comics in their newsagent, trying to find a copy of #17 with the sticker they needed to complete the set.
