Oh yeah, forgot to say - I picked up Bumblebee Energon Igniter Blitzwing from Home Bargains on Saturday, for the much more reasonable price of £7.99. He's definitely worth it at that price - despite having limited articulation, the sculpt's very nice, and head-swapping gimmick is fun.

SDCC Botbot set arrived from ID yesterday, putting one fear to rest. It's a nice little set, but disappointed that the packaging doesn't actually turn into the convention stage setup that it looks like it's meant to - it's just a fancily-designed packing tray, which is a shame. But the bots themselves are good and fun, and on the molds that are re-uses it seems like they've tightened some things up, which is good, and seems to continue the trend of Botbots being the only line where QC is improving over time...

Picked up the Argos tape threepack and...
I am fascinated by the Bumblebee. Like, maybe it's just a stimming thing, but the way that he just flips around and car! <flip> Robot!
Frenzy is the best of the tapes. I can see why I never picked up Laserbeak or Ravage in the first place.

In London for work, and a trip to FP yielded Red Heat and Stakeout, so I have my first Siege Autobot micromasters at last. Popping-off limbs aside, they're pretty neat! A handsome pair in both modes, with Stakeout probably winning over all.
It seems a shame you can't pop the fire ladder off of Red Heat, it looks like it would make a decent gun for a deluxe without a big chunk of fire engine attached to it.
(Brexity exchange rate in my favour today, this worked out about 25% cheaper than they retail at in Germany)

The whole ladder unit just pops off mine. Fell off as I took it out the packet. Burns got upset when I switched the turrets.

Oh wow, so it does! The turret on mine was _very_ firmly attached, was a little worried I had broken it just now...

My movie legends addiction is leading me to some odd places. Been hoping to snag one of these for most of this year. Keroro is the leader of an alien army of Frogs that attempt to clone starscream but inadvertantly absorbs the power allowing him to become KeroroscreamOnly something this ridiculous could make me go out of my way to spend money on this mould again.

Picked up a much-reduced Bumblebee "Energon Igniters" (i.e. Legends-class) "Cliffjumper" from Asda last night, who I think for me will just be red Bumblebee. Because.

First delivery from Amazon.com for me this week with Smashdown and Caliburst. Caliburst was always a known factor, but I'm loving the Siege Targetmasters, so always happy to have more. Smashdown is great fun and its nice to see some varied weapon types and effects parts.

I received Ectotron from Kapow this week. Very nice toy and am very happy that he doesn't take too long to transform. A little loose and the backpack doesn't always stay on but apart from that a wonderful toy and idea - I hope we get more crossovers like this. Box is lovely too. Getting this has made me realise that he is sort of my first 'proper' Transformer toy this year. Apart from Botbots and the odd Bumblebee gimmick toy, I haven't bought anything.
