I must stop buying Movie toys! Have several now. Weird, as the the Movie-verse style isn't completely to my taste. Seem to remember going a bit bonkers after the last movie. I'm clearly just a simple creature.
Grabbed a cheap ROTF voyager Mixmaster of a nice fellow on Ebayus. For some reason I seem to enjoy the weirder looking movie figs, and part of me always regretted not getting a Mixmaster when he first came out. Mixmaster doesn't disappoint in the weird robot department! I actually find him really funky!
Voyager DOTM Ironhide was also grabbed cheap from a Sainsburghy near me. He's a far better figure than the previous voyager Ironhide, although he only has one cannon. Transformation of the front of the vehicle into the robot chest is particularly nice, with a kind of folding action thingy going on (heh- who needs Big Phil's Reviews with descriptions like that!).
And delux Sideswipe. A very nice figure indeed. Is this the same mold from the last film? Great transformation, great weapon, excellent styling.
So far in the DOTM line the only let down for me has been the voyager Optimus that I snatched cheap last week from Tescosis. Wasn't going to get him at all, but I weakened. I've such crap willpower. This fig did disappoint me. His body in relation to his legs is bizarrely small, and the wheels ending up on his fore arms impedes movement. A couple of fore arm blades would have been perfect and would have saved this fig. Sadly it's a let down compared with DOTM Megatron and Ironhide. The only plus is that the reduced size of this voyager fig means Op looks pretty good fighting Bonecrusher from the first film (the delux Bonecrusher looking too small when fighting the previously sized voyager Op when trying to re-live their fight from the first film).
Shockwave is on the way from Amazonia. Must stop buying now. Must.

Be prepared to pay through the nose now £9.50 when I bought one, last one on ebay sold for £12.57 Sweet Zombie Impactor on a Bike! £18.55 for Legends Megatron? Wish I'd got in there when he was £9.50

I am weak. Today, while fetching the Heroic Age Captain America figure I forgot to buy the other day, I bought Mechtech Bumblebee. But at least my moments of weakness have Robot Modes!

Important things to remembeer when opening your ark: the missiles are in there, they're just taped to the inside of the bottom of Roller's bubble.

Shockwave is here. And he is magnificent! Nice alien design, great robot mode, great weapon, great head/face and not a bad alt mode to boot! Size wise he's not as tall as the voyagers from ROTF, but only by a smidge. His upper body bulk, and indeed general bulk, mean he looks really nice against Optimus and Megatron voyagers from ROTF (my preffered leader voyagers!).
HUZZZAAAAGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, wonder if I can configure his alt mode into some kind of flying mode joby. Ideas other Shockwave owners?

Shockwave's complete lack of characterisation in the film has rather destroyed any interest that I might have had in owning him. Perhaps if I had read PAD's novelisation first, where he doesn't talk much because there is nothing useful to say, rather than the film where he is basically a grunting nobody it might have been different. Ah well.
But then, the film's characterisation has made me uninterested in owning a number of their toys, so Shockwave should not feel unfairly singled out..

I think you're our first DOTM Shockwave owner. The Review forum awaits you..... I've had him for weeks but I kept it secret as didn't want to make you all jealous. He sits on the windowsill, positioned so that I can see his face through the narrow 1.5cm gap between my PC monitors. His eye lights up due to the lightpiping making him look sinister. I think he's spying on me.

If you've got Tracks already and think you don't need Wheeljack, you're missing out.
My Tracks has donated Wheeljack a second shoulder mounted launcher. WHEELJACK HAS TWO MISSILE LAUNCHERS HASBRO!

IIRC a translated interview from the last Generations book revealed that the new Wheeljack was designed first, then made into Tracks.
