Chuck it back on ebay, if the listing wasn't clear then you will probably make your money plus p+p back on the gun, then you can use the money to get the remaining ear.

Knock Off Metrotitan arrived today and he's pretty good. The quality of the plastic and the mold is great but the build quality of the whole figure is a bit poor. He's got loose joints, the helipad doesn't clip down properly in robot mode, the car launcher doesn't really launch anything, plus a few other niggles. If you can get him cheap and you like Metroplex then he's worth it. On the whole though it just makes me wish there'd been a proper reissue.

I just picked up Universe Onslaught for 8 quid at Tescos. All the Universe Ultras were on sale though he was the only one there. Might be worth checking out your local Tescos though.
He's a pretty nifty figure. Not sure I'd have paid the full whack for him, but he is far far better than I imagined, and very beefy to boot.

Nope, the siren still just goes 'blip'. Machine guns are fine though!

I've undone him from the box, played with the button "Jetfire's me name" ;D but didn't have time to either transform him to jet mode or corpse coat mode yet, as I got home late and needed to unpack my moving boxes and stuff first

I'm waiting for Buster Optimus Prime, so my Jetfire hasn't yet had a need to become a Corpse Coat.

I jumped on the bus for half an hour to the nearest Tesco. The only Universe Ultras were two (very dusty) Silverbolts at £18.72. Alas, no £8 specials. Still, got me out. -Ralph

I checked mine before going in to hospital and they had all gone as had there SEL so I assume they had been reduced. I may try my other local Tesco tomorrow. I would like a Stormcloud for that price.

CORPSE COAT!!!! AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! It's the easiest way to describe him in that form I have transformed him into Jet mode now (bastarding 5 hours* of delicate clipping and stuff) but I LOVE his jet mode, it's so pretty...but what's with the skunk on his tail fins??? I will attempt the coat this evening when I get home from work :3 *may have exagerrated a bit

The skunk is probably to do with the real-life plane's squadron markings.
Oh, and congratulations on your first Hubism with "Corpse Coat"!

The skunk is probably to do with the real-life plane's squadron markings. The development group that came up with the SR-71, and a number of other things that were funded via "black" programs was refered to within the company and externally as "The Skunk Works". So it could be a reference to that perhaps. Karl

Finally won some items on YJ. Greatshot, blue Brave Greatshot remould and a completely stripped Grand Max body and Energon Omega Supreme. Dread to think of the shipping costs on top of the rest of the stuff I have awaiting postage.

Andy, those box sizes, the postage.. ouch. Not to mention the Customs reaming! -Ralph Yeah on top of those I have a boxed Star Convoy another Greatshot (to make an almost complete one) 4 Liokaiser members, Fire Convoy and translucent Fire Convoy cab (I didnt realise it was clear when I won it, I just wanted a standard cab for a custom.) At least the exchange rate is much in my favour now and as for customs, touch wood, fingers crossed I've never been hit by customs from YJ. Andy

I got Turbo Master in the post today. Far far better condition than I was expecting, though the mechanism doesn't work totally (but then again, I'm told they never do). I might try taking him apart and poking in his innards

Turbomaster = Gay Pride Bruticus (darn you Ralph), right?
How is the mechanism meant to work? The propellors rotate and the gun on the back goes up and down. I cant remember if it works on mine or not.

I've opened mine up and had a look. You push down on the gun at the back, and an overly complex series of cogs (seriously, there is five) makes the fists rotate.
The cogs are plastic and very thin. One of them has sheared in half and one looks about to. I reckon it is fixable with a bit of super glue though.
Sadly mine has no accessories, but hey, gay pride Bruticus!
Let me know if you want a photo of his innards
