Almost all my christmas deliveries finally made it this week. Most are put away for Christmas. Botcon 2001 Tigertron and Black Arachnia and Animated Season one await.
Went out to a car boot sale yesterday and found a small number of movie figures including a Bonecrusher and a Supreme Bumblebee. This is my third one from the same car boot sale, So far the three have cost me £18 and the first two I sold for over £50 and after playing with this one a little I almost want to keep it and play with all the noises and lights.
Also got a giant set of Lego City a full police station set which also had a fire engine and construction vehicle mixed in I discovered once I got it home. Currently trying to put them all together.

Botcon 2001 Tigertron (brilliant) and Arcee (less great than I imagines though I'm not sure I'm transforming it quite right). Animated Blackout rounding off the major part of my animated collection.
Also Generations Soundwave (better than the titanium, not quite as good as either the original or music label) and Red Alert, more interesting than most of the repaints of that mould.

Banzaitron and Breacher finally mine, ty Christmas! Methinks a couple of TF:United are next on the list. The colouring is just so much nicer than Hasbro.

Santa brought me a Masterpeice Grimlock this year. Very nice toy - (Red eyes look the best btw). If only they would do the other Dinobots like this! One a year of course because of the price.

Got a MISB Spanish 1990 Silverbolt for Christmas. Now Superion stands loftily on my Transformers shelf. (Really had forgot how much bigger than Defensor he is)
Also just got a MISB Sky Garry for 81 quid delivered off of E-Bay.
Now I don't have money to buy Rodimus Convoy.... time to sell some bits, I reckon.

Ordered a Thunderwing over a Darkmount from Kapow...
Homage-orama aside is Darkmount worth it?

Not technically a new arrival, as I got them before Christmas but I have finally had a chance to open my Terradive and Mindset. Mindset being a redeco of Hailstorm remains a great looking toy, and thanks to him being a Reveal the Shield toy I can just ignore the fact that they have given him the wrong faction sign on his rub-sign and he can join my Cybertronian Empire forces where he belongs. Where he can in fact team up with Terradive. Further thoughts on the latter in early January when the festivities are behind us, but I am liking him so far - he has enough articulation in the arms that you can just about get him to wield his trident/spear/polearm weapon with a bit of wuxia style.

HFTD Brimstone. Not a 'good' toy, but a fun one to play about with. Can't put it down!

Tomahawk looks the business. Recentley got ROTF Lockdown. I like him better than the Animated figure (aside from the QC problems with the legs) though there are some bits I am not too sure about like the skinny arms, rubbery hook and rubbery hand.

You know, the Autobot/Decepticon ratio in my collection of toys from the Classics/Henkei to RtS/United group of toys might be the first 'line' to actually be 50:50 in my collection. If you get my meaning.
I've always favoured the Autobots. But the Decepticons Darkmount, Thunderwing and Scourge are looking far cooler compared to most of the Autobots from this line for me.
It was just a thought. Maybe the 'obscure' Decepticons are more interesting to me.
Elliott.

I'm in the process of writing a review of Lockdown/Axor but have an Axor and wondered whether those parts were rubber on Lockdown. I'm in your debt. Which reminds me, send me your address

Start the year as we mean to go on with UN-07 Bumblebee and UN-09 Megatron evading CUTA action. Bumblebee is very gold. The brushed silver on the Megatron is a HUGE improvement on the Henkei version.

Hurrah! I still need a Megatron, I nearly got the Henkei one. I wasn't so impressed with pics of the United one, I take it it is better in person. Is the Bumblebee just a normal bumblebee in gold? Does he have a blue head like Goldbug? I noticed that Bumblebee is getting reissued in Reveal the Shield too, that one slipped me by!
