Morning all. A few sore heads, legs & tummys after this last weekend.
So naturally, thank you Jonathan, my week starts far too early this morning. And no Sarah-Jane Honeywell to share it with either :-(

For some reason I decided to stick my phone on silent last night which was a good job because at five past twelve Burns texted me to tell me that TFCC Thundercracker & Ramjet were performing unspeakable acts with each other.

Nice one. I remember starting the post-AA week thread last year and calling it Aftermath.
Watching Summerslam later and hopefully getting more acquainted with the HD camera.

Such bad bad things were done. But also such greatness . Photos (and possibly video) to come. Got more than four hours sleep for the firdt time since tuesday. Had arelaxihng morning . Now on traihnn home and will see just how much stuff I. Cleared out over the rather amazing weekend spent on the toyfu tables.

Have you had a liquid lunch Andy ?
Scots boys are on their way home. Nick is on a train. Burns & Turnbull are on a later train. Karl is waiting for a plane.

No liquid lunch, just a stupid tiny phone keyboard and a screen I can barely see while typing.

Hubbers, I have arrived home unscathed, unmolested and on time. This can only mean some apocalyptic event is in the offing for the remaining members of the brave Scots contingent. Ralph and Andy are on there way back by rail and have been alerted to signalling problems at Sheffield which may escalate into confusion and cancelled trains. Karl patiently awaits his flight.
To the channelling thread!

Andy and Ralph - In the vicinity of Leeds. Past the delays.
Karl - appears happy waiting for his 8.30pm flight.
All travel appears to be generally ok. Could the curse be broken??

Back from Birmingham. Flight delayed by thirty-minutes, and then parked at the other end of the airport facility and it took them a long time to find a bus to take us to the terminal. The I got onto a train at Haymarket having forgotten it was Festival time and normal folks have to push their way onto the trains through crowds of festival-goers clogging up the entrances to the carriages.
Home now, tired. Figure I am short a couple of full days sleep somewhere along the line

I think (hopefully) that everyone's arrived back at their respective homes now, so good to know you've all made it back safely. It was noticeably quieter here without you all, by the way. Have just seen the picture of THAT Ratchet on FB, which explains what the hell people were talking about on Twitter. Am officially worried.

You have no idea how frightening that Ratchet toy is in the hands of Andu.
In other news I am just up. My shoulder is heavily bruised and my head is mush. Now to go get some milk. Ugh.
Thankgoodness I did not have to go to work today!

Anyone have a link to THAT Ratchet toy, or is it non-worksafe? I have a funeral today. A tough next 3 hours lies ahead. ===KEN

As am I. A trip to the corner shop for rolls failed when I came back having completely forgotten to buy rolls.

When I left for the train yesterday, I bought my ticket got some snacks and was about to head through the barriers when I realised I didn't have my bag. I'd left it in the hotel bar.
I'm still no more coherent.

I have spent most of today on my sofa watching DVD's. The weather wasn't really good enough to go anywhere anyway, which is just as well because I wasn't mentally up to going very far.... and I am not guaranteeing how compusmentus I will be tomorrow either.
Still feel like I could do with a day or so of sleep.

2nd attempt at buying rolls failed miserably. I then went to the pub for dinner as I lack the energy for cooking. Had one pint which went straight to my head. Thus, I retreated back to the couch of destiny.

I went to university to get another transcript to send to Iowa State since the one my mum sent in was deemed not official enough and my application is on hold until I send them a proper one. Then went to the PC repair place in the middle of nowhere to pick up my laptop which they couldn't give me because the new keyboard they ordered has not shown up.
Then I went to WH Smiths get an ink cartridge and ended up escorting a confused Aberdonian man who had been mugged to Queen St station to find out how he could get home, going through every person in authority until a transport supervisor offered to call his wife so that she could pay for his ticket at the far end. She wasn't in so he left a message then went out for a smoke, having borrowed cigarettes from about four people on the way there. I went back in while he was puffing away and found she hadn't rung back, but when I got back outside he was gone. The Big Issue seller outside the station said he had just wandered off down Queen St. By the time I got back as far as WH Smiths I found it was closed and I didn't get my cartridge.
Not the best day, but it could clearly have been worse.

That Ratchet looks like he means business. Is that like a candy toy or something? I saw a Prime and Megs at the bootfair in similar SD style.
The funeral went smoothly. Blaise being at the after gathering also brought cheer into an otherwise very sad occasion.
