Bit of a hairy day at work. Glad it's effectively a four-day week as Friday is training.

Not a bad start to my week. Workwise things have gone better than they have for a while, and I have also put my finger on what has been causing the bouts of depression and anxiety that have been coming and going for a couple of months. Now I know, and knowing is half the.... yes, anyway. If I know the cause I can start doing something about it, which is a positive thing.

Funeral yesterday, my step-grandad, didnt really know him all that well but the man's life is such an inspiration. Lived to the grand old age of 95 so had seen it all!
Back to work today, not really in the mood but a day full of meetings means I wont get much done..

I think buying 40 packets of ping! microwave porridge when it was on special offer was not a good idea It is most foul. I should stick to Scots So Easy.

HELLO SPORTSFANS!!!
I'm off for 19 days in a row thanks to how my rest days have fallen and a smidge of leave. But I am not going to be sitting around on my firm arse, no no, it's the INCREDIBLE SHOCKPROWL'S HOUSE DECORATATHON! Wriggler's room AND the Lounge MUST be decorated! They simply must!

The Lounge MUST be decorated! Still waiting for the plaster to dry in our lounge. Were getting by without 50% of the house at the moment. As soon as the plaster dries out - its paintin' time! ===KEN

Things seem rather tense in the environment at work somewhat, but I'm staying out of stuff and just getting on with it. I'm just happy to have a job.

A somewhat up and down week at work so far, with some distinct switchbacking in terms of how things are going. I figure I might adopt thy strategy a bit, and focus on taking things a fractional day at a time. Nearly Scotcon though - so the nearing end of the week is nice and positive to look forward to.

Not been feeling great the past few days and have been mostly curled up in bed. Just a cold but it's one of those extra irritating ones that makes it hard to do anything.

Wriggler appears be fighting a continuous war against socks, and indeed all coverings of the feet. Much concentration goes into removing any offending item. It is then cruelly eaten in triumph. Wriggler obviously wishes feet to be free and bare, as The One Above All intended. She is merciless in her pursuit of this dream.

Shall we compare diaries? We're in SW London between Christmas and New Year Yes indeed I shall drop you a PM and we shall see what we shall see. In other news, I saw a security company van on the way home today which made me think. On the side of the van it indicated that they specialised in "Manned Guarding". It set me to thinking about what on earth their competitors would be using for Unmanned Guarding..... Are there faceless legions of autonomous security robots deployed to protect shopping centres and factories or something? :-) I thought I was done with Pha se-a Twwwo (as the Cybermen would say) of my clearout this week, having put the "cold storage" boxes of TF's back in the loft for review in three months or so. But I've just realised that there is a large box up there that I don't actually know the contents of. If it is, as I suspect, Zoids then it is mostly filled with Deathsaurer and it will probably all be staying. But if it isn't it means there is a box I haven't factored into my carefully considered plan.... Karl

This morning is just as bad. I should be walking Jonathan to school cos Liz is working, but I can barely stand so a friend is taking him. I've got friends coming later and we're meant to be going out to lunch but at this rate I'll be sending them off without me.
Bath and back to bed for a few hours.
