No disassemble...
Glad to be seeing Snow this morning.
Blaise who is now walking keeps looking out of the patio window, pointing at as many snowflakes she can see whilst saying "Pretty!".

VVH for Burns for an early Kick Off! You've done it too! Day off and blood pressure already high due to workmen causing a racket right outside the window. Nice to have had a notice of this...oh no, there wasn't one. Had I known, I would have taken a different day off: I could have peace, they can get on with whatever job they're doing and everyone happy. FFS. It's like I just can't have one whole relaxed day this year. I'm ready to explode. -Ralph

It was extremely nippy this morning when I sallied forth, running behind due to sleeping in.
Ah well, a nice crisp frosty morning was most excellent for my morale so that at least is to the good.

Went to cinema earlier than planned due to the noise. Had planned to see 1 film, saw 2 just to stay out.
Trying to stay to tight budget. The 'spend less money' approach has so far failed this year but I need to get my head sorted budget-wise or bad times lie ahead.

Spent most of this afternoon going walkabout from B&Q Parkhead trying to find a stacking box that's similar enough to the ones I already have to stack on top of them. I went to Tesco Extra, ASDA and finally Dunnes Stores where I found one that's close enough. I think stacking boxes are like car paint colours- they change the makeup of them every year or two so that if you want it to match you have to buy a full set.
Today I can take my Buyer Protection appeal further over the missing Death Star. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

Got to work just as they were closing the tube station due to a raging fire over the road. Remarkable cloud of smoke visible from the office (a view we are now afforded thanks to having moved up a floor and along a bit yesterday. We have natural light at last!).
The grit they were putting out last night as I left is now ground into the office carpets after a snow-no-show. Almost disappointed, wouldn't have minded a day working from home.
More arse-banditry from Parcelforce though. It's the full £13.50 this time so might kick up a fuss.

Money woes screwing with me this week it seems. Can't seem to get out of this deep set funk, either... Looking forward to a night out on Saturday with my oldest friend though! It'll just have to be a quiet one, which is a shame.
Also: it is trying to snow in Derby, but the sky can't really be bothered with the hassle it seems.

No snow here, a lot of frost around in the morning though. I seems to be less cold than it was on Monday as I hadn't noticed any ice on the door when I left the house this morning.
Hectic morning, nice to put my metaphorical feet up a bit at lunchtime.

Indeed. There are a few folks who hold the purse strings that could do with being introduced to the world outside their tax-payer funded limos.

eBay returned my money from the Death Star in full within an hour of my sending in my "nope, 10 days later and still no word" signal. I approve.
Back to work tomorrow for my epic 10 hour week (4 hours tomorrow, 6 on Saturday). I don't know how I'll be able to handle it, boys.

...so the work got a grant to have a promo 4-5 minute film made 'about what we do'. I volunteered to gurn in front of the camera, thinking it would be fun. Turned out to be me being filmed in an alley in temperatures around zero degrees before the light went. I wasn't allowed to wave my arms about due to the shot choice. Alas, that accounts for about 50% of how I communicate. So instead of my plan to be highly articulate, intelligent and thought-provoking about homelessness, I turned out to be a very cold stiff beanpole bouncing up and down slightly due to the lack of heat and wishing it would end so I could put my gloves and hat back on. I doubt I will end up in the final cut, even though the nice director lady texted later to say I was "great!". I shall keep you all posted. I now return you to your lives.

Send the lady director a link to the Stardub YouTube site and request a reshoot for your bits. And get BLOT involved!
