In terms of Transformers - to keep myself on topic - I'm not sure that there is much that I currently have a burning sense of "must own". There are a few things I wouldn't mind picking up at some point, but nothing that really leaps to mind for a "most wanted" list.
I wouldn't mind owning a Ratchet and an original colour Ravage at some point mind you. So I suppose that kind of constitues my "most wanted" list.
(At least, in terms of things it is feasible for me to get. There are a few things - like J-Decker- I would love to own, but the likelihood of me being able to obtain them means that they are "off the radar" so to speak).
There are a few other robots/mecha that would probably qualify but they are off-topic for this thread I guess.

Still haven't seen movie Ironhide in the shops, online prices are too much. Wouldn't mind a mint Sunstreaker, Wheeljack & Trailbreaker. Also need Hook, I even got Devastators head. Whirl. The re-tool of Beast wars Optimus and Megatron are also elusive.

I've been fortunate to get most of my most wanted over the last few years.
Sky Lynx would have been in the top five, but my reissue version has shipped from HLJ, so that knocks the original some way down the list.
So let me see, top 5, hmm. In no particular order:

In terms of other transformable mecha there are a few things I wish I had in my collection. We'll get to the Macross stuff in due course. As a fan of Genesis Climber Mospeada I'm quite tempted by the Megahouse renditions of the Ride Armour: Stickand Rayversions are due at the moment. With rumours of Yellow and his Blowsperior to follow (no announcement on a Hoquet with her Fuke-type armour yet. Which boggles my mind. How can they think about releasing Ray without his girl. After all, who is going to bail him out of trouble?). Not sure whether the budget will stretch to the Ride Armours, but if I can fit it in I do quite fancy getting the Stick Bernard to see what the line is like. I also quite fancy the rendition of the Tread and Legioss that CMS are doing:- Stomp StompGood job I've been putting some money aside specifically for that for a good many months now really. I have been waiting for someone to take another swing at the Tread for many, many years (the Gakken one from the eighties is a rather horrible toy but goes for horrific amounts- a several times what this version is retailing for). And seeing as Toynami's version has been "coming soon" for about three years now I figure that the CMS version is the way to go. As to Macross stuff, there are still a few things I would like, noteably:- YF-21and YF-19two of my favourite Shoji Kawamori designs. I'm also intriqued by the fact that Bandai will be doing the VF-25 from the new Macross series at 1/60th scale in the Soul of Chokogin line. I liked the VF-25 on the basis of the one episode of the series that has aired so far (last year as part of the twenty-fifth anniversary promotion) a nice blend of tribute to the original Valkyrie and the more curved and sculpted look of the VF's from "Macross Plus" and "Macross Zero" . but I'm going to reserve judgement until I actually see a prototype of the SOC version before I consider whether it is worth saving up for. There is very little chance of me obtaining most of this stuff in all honesty, given the price tags of a lot of it. But that is why it is a "Most Wanted thread" I guess. The Legioss and Tread is a fairly certain buy once they come into stock at HLJ. The rest... far less probable on financial grounds. Oh, and I can't believe - getting back on topic - that I left Shockwave off my list of Transformers I really want to own. The iconic Decepticon leader, thanks to my comic-addled mind and one of the few characters I am really attached to that I haven't owned. (Alternator Shockblast doesn't really count as far as I'm concerned. He has no characterisation so there is no way of knowing if he is the same character or not). Karl |

Soooo, I'll start off with the figs I'd like, that don't actually exist (yet- hopfully!):
Masterpiece Thundercracker - gotta have all three Seekers! (my 2nd great obsession)
Masterpiece Shockwave - as large as MP Op and Megs.
Masterpiece Soundwave, with 4 or 5 cassets, how cool would this be?!
In Classics I'd like: Jazz, Ratchet, Ironhide, Sideswipe, Blaster, Perceptor, Blitzwing, Springer, Skids, Brawn, Ratbat, Shockwave, Soundwave, wheeljack, Mindwipe, 5 X Predacons (voyager), 6 x Constructicons, Armoured Ultra Magnus and Emir Xaaron. (phew!)
Just to wind Phil up: Voyager and Ultra sized Classic style Dinobots, and voyager sized Classics sized Seekers X 6 (te he he).
I'd love a version of Thunderwing from Stormbringer.
I'd also really really like a version of Infiltration Megatron, pref ultra AND masterpiece class. I LOVE this version of Megs.
Figs that exist: Classics Prowl!!!!!!!! And the others as well, apart from smegging Powerglide. Coupla Prowls I'm still after, SWAT Energon the most elusive. I'd really really like a Beast Wars Transmetal and Transmetal 2 Ravage/Tripredacus agent. MP Skywarp is quite high up there. And still missing a coupla 6 " Titaniums, such as War Within Optimus. You know how much of a Titanium junkie I am. And Classics Thundercracker. Was gunna kit-bash the latter, but it's far beyond my abilities as a virgin kit-basher.
Figs that were going to exist and now aren't: guess what I'm going to say?
