There's an incentive if ever I had one. Only 6k to go then. I'll have that done by the end of the week. I desperately need you to overtake me, Pins, to take the heat off me... NOW STOP MAKING ME POST. DAMN IT!!! YOU AND THE DOCKTOR! STOP IT! I've only got few posts in-hand...

I don't half post a load of rubbish!

So, because I'm supposed to be doing schoolwork I just made a table instead. Using previous posting tables I can see a surprisingly straight line graph of me catching up with Blue's posts. If we both keep posting at the average rate we have since last May, we'll converge on 9th June.

No! That's Phil's job. I was just curious if MATHS could predict when I will meet Blue. However at current posting rate It'll be tomorrow.

But now I want a table to show the date when Phil inevitably matches my post count. I'm not sure he will. Look at the data! This is a graph of Ralph's lead over Phil using Phil's tables going back three years. The lower the blue line goes, the closer Phil gets to Ralph. The higher it goes, Ralph pulls away. Phil was on course through the middle of 2016 to catch up with Ralph around the start of 2018, but then Ralph begins to increase his posting average, and now look! In August 2016 Phil was only 4300 posts away, but at the start of this month Ralph had extended his lead to 7000!

I think what this really tells us is that Ralph spammed us with an almighty number of crap records last year. A better study would be to evaluate the quality of posts...

A pie chart is useful for showing proportions at a fixed point in time.
A single item of data over a time range is much better presented over time.
