Due to the greyness of the tires, etc. I took that to be an image of a prototype - it'd be weird to go that far and then not do the deco right! Either way, I need G2 Sideswipe! It's existance surprises me since it's obviously targeting western audiences. Here's hoping it won't ebd up some limited exclusive. I approve of G2 Sideswipe. I may not spring for it due to space issues and I did keep my original G2 Sideswipe when I had to clear TF's out for the afore mentioned space reasons. I like that it exists though. Very nice, but I still don't see the green highlights. I know they won't be to everyone's tastes but I like them and feel like it isn't G2 Sideswipe without them. I hope it comes with a sticker sheet!

I think I read something about stickers on TFW, but not sure if it was fact or wishful thinking.
The photo does show the car mode with the Green lightlights, which would make sense of the sticker talk.
They have it looking so perfect I'd be amazed if there wasnt an option for that look.

I think it has to have a decal sheet, as some photoes he's a smooth black with a normal autobot symbol, and others he has all his G2 detailing and a G2 autobot symbol.
If not, I can't imagine Reprolabels not correcting this.
Either way this is the hottest thing I've seen for a long time. I'm so glad I preordered.

Looking closely (at the original Autobot symbol on the bonnet) it looks like the one with the green is a photo-reference of the original figure. My fingers remain crossed. I don't know, the stickers dont quite match the photo on TFU. The sticker between the headlights and under the autobot symbol is tiny on the MP photo. Also it looks like the windows are translucent red rather than clear, that could be a illusion.
Still stickers make sense. The total G2 package may not be to everyones taste. Crazy I know.

I agree. Making all the G2 stuff stickers makes sense, because as I mentioned before, G2 appeals to western audiences, but is mostly unknown to the asian market. While they did have some limited G2, it was quite different than any version we've been exposed to. And seems to have been much more sensable (And thus, not as much fun).
So while the G2 stuff is aimed at us, they still have to sell it to their audience first. So yeah, it makes sense to make optional G1 stickers.

HLJ has it for £33.09. Postage would be about £5. If it escape customs thats a lot cheaper if it doesnt a bit more than Kapow. Maybe should have risked them instead.

Someone wanted a MP G2 Megatron, and someone else said yeah and an Archfprce repaint. I pointed put that purple is the default colour for Tank Megs in Japan as they didn't get the green big tank. Japan's G2 consists of the Combat Heroes, Cyberjets, Laser Rods, Tanker Op, The Bikes, Spychangers and the ATB. That's it. Still seems to be available most places. Kapow has it for £55 still, Robot Kingdom for $60.
As stupid as it is I am having to resist the urge to buy two so I can have a comic and toy version.

What happened to the bandoliers we saw when this was first announced? Did that feature get cut? It's the defining feature of the comic version (for me) so would be a shame if it is missed.
