See, a while back someone I knew excitedly pointed out to me that there would be a Transformers/Eva crossover.

There is something hilarious about the Transformers/Evangelion mash-up. Even beyond the ludicrous colours which results from the Unit-01 Prime. Somehow the very idea of colliding Transformers with the dark cynicism of the human condition and the somewhat twisted freudian metaphors of Evangelion has very much the feel of being a "banana and marmite sandwhich" kind if idea.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the most iconic animes of all time. It was from the early nineties, but has been getting a remake over the last few years in the form of Rebuild of Evangelion. God has decided to end the world, and sends angels to bring it about. Humanity counters with giant robots called Evas, piloted by children. Optimus Prime here is in the colors of Eva Unit 01:  Evangelion is *extremely* messed up, and difficult to watch. |

I wish that Eva Prime had a larger (and cheaper) run, because I wanted him badly.
I also would have killed for and Eva Unit-02 decoed Grimlock, Shockwave decoed as Unit-00, a Sachiel decoed Starscream, and Soundwave decoed as Israfel.
