First hint that Magneto is alive, well and living in Antartica as followed up in Uncanny 375, an issue you're very familiar with....

375? That's Skrullverine is it not and nearly a decade later.
There's a Wolverine arc around the time as well, and then its X-Men 298 or 299 when they find the Acolytes all chromed iirc.

Pretty sure it's confirmed in 308 as well, when Professor X is talking to Magneto inside his head after the events of Fatal Attractions, when we see the flashbacks to him and Amelia Voght.

X-Men Grand Design by Ed Piskor was excellent.
Really enjoyed this dense comic, as it weaves the history of the X-Men into a cohesive narrative.

Been reading X-Men Epic Collection 19: Mutant Genesis and it's a rather odd trade. <SNIP> The volume ends with X-Men 1-3. I've bought them at least 5 times in various forms and I don't particularly like them! Something has gone from the storytelling, it's just not as good as the Uncanny run between Lee & Claremont. I did think "Why is this in there?" but I suppose it does provide a nice bookend to the Claremont run finishing the volumes printing his issues. It enabled the next volume to start the post Claremont Uncanny issues cleanly and nowhereon the book does it says Uncanny X-Men Epic Collection: for all I know they may be intending to use v20 onwards to print Uncanny and adjectiveless side by side. BAD PHIL! X-Men #1 is fab and comes just before the X-comics vanished into wankland for a decade. -Ralph
