Enjoying the now weekly Uncanny X-Men, it's a lot livelier and pacier than a lot of the recent books. Plus we have X-Man back, can only be a matter of time before we see Adam-X the X-Treme! Andy AKA the proper third summers brother

Yes.
Robert Weinberg was intending that Apocalypse was the 3rd Summers brother. Gambit was a Summers brother created by Sinister in X-Men - The End.
Then there was Vulcan in Deadly Genesis.

The Adam-X was downplayed and has never been picked up again. Weinberg never got to tell the tale. X-Men: The End is not in 616.
So no there is only one third Summers brother for now.
Until someone resurrects the Adam-X plotline.

No, I don't think so. You may be thinking of Monarch from DC's Armageddon 2001 - he was clearly going to be a future version of Captain Atom, but because people guessed they walked it back and he became Hank Hall (Hawk of Hawk and Dove fame).

Andy OMG finally (!) for X-Man, but booo for Adam-X. Here's hoping Marvel's writers have finally figured out how to use a character as powerful as our Nate without resorting to savagely limiting his powers every chance they get. Reading that last volume of New Mutants he appeared in made me want to punch things.

I think once the current arc is done, he might disappear for a bit. No bad thing, but I agree he is someone who works a bit better slightly at a distance from the main X goings on.

So we are about to start the Age of X-Man...
The weekly X book has been a decent read week to week, but not really memorable in any way. Like fast food, consumed and enjoyed but nothing to savour afterwards.

Age of X-Man Alpha.
Purchased. I'm done with this iteration of X-Men again. The weekly run has been the equivalent of fast food, decent at the time but nothing you'll really remember afterwards.
I really don't know what they can do with the X-Men now. God help me, I'd take Claremont back right now, at least he'd give them some kind of purpose and identity.

Rereading some late 190s early 200s X-Men, and have slotted the trip to Asgard into it's correct place between UXM 199 and 200,
Never spotted the significance of the couple who Storm passes on the Greek island before at the start of the New Mitants Special Edition!

Picked up The Shattering trade from LSOH on FCBD.
I still like that era of X-Men when it was in effect a bi-weekly book the way that the Superman titles all followed each other for a while.
