For all your Generations "I wish they would make/update/needs" and speculation By obvious I mean popular or well-know characters, for example the MP Grimlock and Shockwaves of this world, or Jazz and the Brothers in Classics2.
By not-so-obvious I mean characters that you've seen in a comic, or from the good ol' days that you'd like to see produced/redone.
I'd like to start by offering-up:
Infiltration style Megatron. This is prob my fave ever ever version of ol' Megs. Yep, fave ever ever. Loadsa weaponary, yet still with a G1ick feel. Much preffer my Megatron as a grit-smegoff tank instead of a gun wi magic shrinky. It'd be great to see a voyager sized version of this incarnation of him.
Thunderwing from Strombringer. Loved the comic and Furman's take on Pretenders. Loved Thunderwing's form throughout the story, but when he activated this ultra mode joby it made me come over all unnecissary. I'd like to see a leader sized, or at least ultra sized version of this character, so it would be more-or-less in scale with Classic/Cybertron style of fig.
(I've managed to type alllll this without mentioning 6" Titanium Prowl.)

Wreck-gar, redesigned by Shinji Aramaki. I was never a big fan of Wreck-gar's motorcycle mode - it was nowhere near as interesting as it could have been and I reckon better could be done with him.
The reason for wanting Shinji Aramaki to redesign him? Aramaki is, I think the best designer of motorcycle alt-modes in the business (the Motoslave from "Bubblegum Crisis", the titular MOSPEADA's from "Genesis Climber Mospeada" and the Garland from "Megazone 23" were his work). He also has a connection of sorts to the line - as he worked as a designer on Diaclone. Shame he has graduated to directing these days.

Which characters definitely should be Classicfied?
And why ? I'm thinking a toy you can get either as a dlx, voyager or Ultra so don't go picking anything too huge.
Don't choose any that are out or on the Runway (Sideswipe, Bluestreak, Ironhide & Ratchet)

How about the rest of the Aerialbots and Combaticons to be able to combine with the new Silverbolt and Onslaught?
Plus the obvious cool characters/sh*t toys from the original series like Bludgeon, Thunderwing and so on.

Using the multiple repaints planning Hasbro are in to now. Id like a Wheeljack and Slicer figure. To be honest Id be quite happy if it was just a repaint of Cybertron Downshift.

That'd work for me (inserts traditional comment about repainting Armada Hoist as Scavenger)

I'd like them to do all the original Autobot cars first and perhaps the six original mini Autobots in basic-size (we've already had Huffer). Scorponok would be nice - with a proper face etc. Wouldn't mind if he wasn't a headmaster but imagine a proper Lord Zarak figure with a removable helmet to show his human form (or green alien). Bludgeon would be popular as well as Arcee - she still hasn't had a G1 style toy made (although I hear that there will be one in the animated line)

Metroplex. A modern styled 6-Gun would be most interesting. Edit-Just realised you said nothing too huge, but why not Leader class in the Universe line, WHY NOT??
Also... Something from the PowerMaster line, like Dreadwing.

Hasn't Dreadwing already fallen as one of the accursed Botcon exclusives ?

There was a Dreadwind, but it was a cack repaint of Jetfire and no Darkwing partner. I was hankering after a reengineered combining plane with full on powermaster feature.

Botcon Dreadwind is actually pretty good- the head sculpt is excellent and the mould really suits him. He gets double bonus points for being one of the few moulds from Botcon 2007 that can actually be picked up for a sane price.
Trailbreaker (and a remould as Hoist) would be excellent, and a voyager Grapple/Inferno could be good too.
EDIT: I was going to mention Hound but I gather he's already upcoming in the 25th Anniversary line along with Cyclonus.

Hound was shown at Botcon. It looks very good and potentially maybe one of my favourite ever toys. It comes packaged with Laserbeak. Whats clever is that laserbeak turns into a cassette sort of but is designed to fit onto the back of hounds jeep mode as a homage to more than meets the eye (is that the right episode?) Also because the designers werent convinced that kids would know what as cassette was so they wanted an alternate use. Best of all the new laserbeak will fit in the original Soundwave.
Andy
Edit Dreadwind is indeed great. I personally prefer it to Jetfire. All the elements work really well as a bulked up Dreadwind. The mold works great as Skyfire (see the new henkei paint job) but terrible as Jetfire.
