And renamed the character Bay-ne. But why should we even be beginning to think that a horn that look's like Unicron's horn is actually going to be Unicron's horn in a series of films that have gone out of their way to make sure character's don't look anything like they should. It's more likely to be Bruticus or something. Do you know, I was looking at the box for AoE yesterday and something dawned on me about this picture. Im starting to think its Grimlocks tail.

I also remember thinking that it might have been Unicron sucking everything up in the trailer for the last film but it was just Lockdown's ship.

Indeed. More and they'd have to call it a rash, which just doesn't work.

Its unicorn Prime! to appeal to the younger viewers, Optimus now transformers into a unicorn called Sparklemas Prime That would actually be fun and interesting though! I'm really still unsure about TF5. As I said earlier, when I heard about stuff like Merlin and Hitler I got all excited that it could be a genuinely insane film. But now I'm convinced this will all be a flashback to how Transformers have influence humanity and then we'll get 3 hours of more grey shaky-cam fighting. I bet Optimus Prime will return to Earth but evil but will turn good in the final act after a "REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!" And Unicron will be a Cybertronian artefact buried under the Earth that Megatron wants to make him powerful. It will slowly emerge and shoot a blue laser into the sky (all films now have a finale which involve a blue laser shooting into the sky). Then Optimus Prime will blow it up. The end.

All the interesting stuff will be in the 5 minute prologue at the start then we'll have very little else said about it as per usual. It'll be 3 hours of tight running shots, slow motion missiles flying through the air and indescribable close up action while the bad guys are trying to find an artefact, Optimus will vanish from the action and return 10 minutes from the end to save the day.

SFX's development hell this month had something I'd not heard about before, although it may be old news. Apparently there is a new animated feature going into production now under Lorenzo di Bonaventura set on Cybertron. He's quoted as saying it isn't an official prequel to the live action movies, but is "in continuity with the mythology".

They've been talking off and on about animated movies set on cybertron to flesh out movieverse since the very first movie. At this point it's a "show me and I'll believe it" situation. Though it's honestly more realistc IMO than this "a TF movie a year" thing they settled on.
But he may also be confused in this case, as Hasbro has gone on record saying everything will be movieverse from here on out, by killing Aligned to replace it with a movieverse animated series. This may be what he's referring to.

That mini Dinobots feature was a bit rubbish. 3 minutes 33 seconds of logo running across the screen before anything starts playing.

14 more films planned. 12 after the Bumblebee & TF6. Also Bay says tf5 is his last - should we make him give up 75% off his pay if he is back for tf6? Might make him stick to what he says.

These new renders - why have they made Hot Rod facially so similar to Bumblebee? I know Bee has his own film out next year, but I'd swear this is a Goldbug rip off. Evil Prime mashes up Bee and he comes back as Hot Rod.

The piece I read said that Paramount/Hasbro had 14 ready to go and that one of them was tempting him to direct again. I'll see if I can find it in the morning.
I realise that Bay is full of the lies around his future plans, so must always be taken with a grain of salt.

The Bumblebee Movie (2018) will indeed be a prequel story to the Transformers Live Action Movie Franchise. Oh... right, so I'm still on with the idea Bee is transformed into Hot Rod.
