That's cool, but it would probably be clearer if the sold stuff was just removed. It was easier to see it when it was struck through. I couldn't figure a way of transferring the "strikethrough" formatting from my spreadsheet to the forum. You're right it is easier to read. I might do it manually myself though. -- Graham Easy. Oh yes, you should see what I can make spreadsheets do.
I had to earn the money to pay for the TFs somehow and to do that I made excel bow before me!
The formula's simple:
If cell a1 is blank, then produce a blank cell.
If a1 isn't blank then look at cell b1.
If it is blank then make the cell equal to a1
If it isn't blank then make the cell equal to a1 with the strikethrough BB tags at either end.
Simple.
You should see the code that take a TFU link and turns it into a BB code link with the right name!
Or the stuff that turns excel into a BB code table

Coincidentally I was teaching Year 8 pupils the If function in Excel last week. That was hard enough, but if I'd tried to explain to them that an If statement can also be used as a value inside another If statement their heads would have exploded, and so I think would mine.

The worst part about having to do desktop support for people is they expect you to know all the inner working of Excel.
I am so very happy when it finally dawns on them that none of us can tell them how to do anything that doesn't involve autosum

I have been using LibrOffice Calc to keep track of Toyfu stuff. A couple of years ago I badly cobbled together a formula to tally how much of Nicks money I had spent. It worked in that it did the maths, but required a manual adjustment every time. Tonight I worked out how to write it so it doesnt need adjusting.
This is basic stuff but spreadsheets have always baffled me so this is a big success for me.
