For those who may be interested, Andy Wildman has posted some art for sell on his site here. Some Armada, War Within II and Marvel UK from the b&w strips. Dunno how much is left, the first lot of Marvel UK and tatty Marvel US stuff went pretty quick. |

I think I got one, the shopping cart was a bit funky going from sold out to not a lot, but the payment went through. So we will see. Wanted one of the out to lunch pages but they had sold out except for page 7 which didn't have enough Dreadwind and Darkwing.

Thanks to Jim's tip-off I managed to get Decepticons burping! And who can want for more?
I also bought the WW double page: it's a got some action, which is always good as I may one day get around to getting my pages framed. Also, because it's a bit sparse and a splash page, it's fairly emblematic of TF comics this century.
Once it's delivered, I'll have several page of TFUK, two from G2, two from DW, and, if you count my inked Wreckers pages (admittedly never directly touched by the hand of Nick), some IDW too. It almost tempts me to buy one of the Armarda pages, but they're not great and it was a rubbish comic, so I must resist that sort of completest urge. I will, though, have to bite the bullet one day and pay the inflated prices for a page from TFUS.

Well, reading the comments posted in the time it took me to compose my message, I will amend that to, I _think_ I got Decepticons burping. Glad I couldn't sleep this morning and got up at 7am!

If more become available I think I might regret this purchase, but I couldn't pass on a page from my fav era of the UK comic. Especially one with Hot Rod, Magnus, Prime, Kup, Arcee and Shockwave all in it. On the other hand its about the least favourite issue of the black and white run.

UK11 - I think that's from Prowl's Perchance to Dream chapter.

Not many stories left that he did the art for. Fallen Star and maybe a couple of others. If zombie Starscream from Race with the Devil was there I would've grabbed that.

I'm currently helping out on the IDW Classics UK reprints of the Marvel UK TF comics and I'm looking for any original artwork that folk may own that they can send me scans of?

Ive pretty much only got the odd ball stuff. Firecons arguing with Galvatron, The moustachioed bartender (I regret not getting a page with the Mechanibals on too), feminist protestors and the Christmas Carol cover which I will see about getting scanned.

Yeah, I have that cover, I expect it'll be in Classics UK vol 7! And thanks Andy! If you can do the scans at 300 dpi, and don't worry about joining them together if you only have an A4 scanner, MarvelManOz [Lloyd] is a wizard at cleaning these up! |
