No I'm fairly sure the Enemy in the Time Wars where Gallifrey was destroyed the first time in the BBC 8th Doctor books was meant to be the Daleks until the Nation Estate had one of their periodic wobbles. Enemy is a sad forgotten robot. -Ralph WRONG Ralph WRONG, it was the giant spiders from Metabelis 3. The Enemy originated on Earth remember, and they had their own WEB OF TIME. Even if that is not true, it is such an amazing idea it is my headcanon now

Do you not recall the 'eye' that watched over the War? -Ralph Well remember it was a combination of The Ancestor Cell/Faction Paradox and the Doctor deciding to blow up Gallifrey that got shot of that. It was the absence of the Time Lords that caused the issues, as no longer did they anchor the web of time. In The Adventuress of Henrietta Street when they manage to get to a ruined version of Gallifrey there is a black eye watching - that was meant to be the Daleks who had supplanted the Time Lords. Then it was the Nation estate having their wobble and we got the Council of Eight and Soul and Octan and all that pish in Sometime Never. Andy

It is kind of amazing and can almost transform, but the head is moulded as part of the chest so can't.

I did not know about the radio! I thought he had only existed as the voicechanger before he returned in Encore!

But I am going away again in October! Notice is hereby served of the need for the Back Up Phil from Monday to Friday next week. I will, bar finding a hotspot, be completely without Interweb during this period.

Isn't there a limit on how long the EMH can be used for? I thought it was only a short term replacement for a full medical staff on a starship.

Not really - the run-time limit mentioned in Voyager was more of the "it was never intended that one would run this long continuously" because it was always expected that any vessel that needed one would only need to do so until the medical resources of another vessel or base were available, when it would be turned off. (It may also reflect the fear that its heuristic learning capabilities might be able to generate something that could pass tests of sapience - given the general terror of transhumanist technologies demonstrated by the Federation preventing that from happening and being forced to consider giving rights to photonic intelligences might have been on the designers minds).
