It's a good price, wish I didn't have so much else on order now I feel like this is one of those figures that will either tank in price or become insanely hard to get hold of, no middle ground.

I do find it quite sad when we live in a world where Transformers the children's toy line now regularly has items at three figure price-points and that no longer seems odd.

It is more sad that Transformers the children's toyline has simple toys for small children at a squillion pounds each.

I would say it is a children's toy. It's a recolour of a mould that was sold in toy shops to children ie on TRU shelves.

They are terrible, frustrating unfun toys for children. God, as a kid G1 Jazz was tricky enough for me!

But if they aren't for children then why are they sold in children's toy shops then? Hmmm.

In fairness its far more a kids toy than most of the ROTF movie line was, much of which was well priced for kids despite being terrible toys for them.
Its an adult collectible toy that meets child safety standards so it can be easily sold, but really isn't a greatkids toy. I would imagine in the long term most 5-10 year olds would get far more from TR Prime than MP Prime.

God, as a kid G1 Jazz was tricky enough for me! Oooooh yeah, he's a bugger isn't he. That tilty chest bit is really nasty compared to the other cars.

His gun isn't aimed properly if he is trying to shoot the chap on the ground.

As much as people mock black repaints, I far prefer the Nemesis Prime colourscheme to this.
Also evil Optimus Prime should be called Optimus Crime
