What, readily available figures for a highly-popular show? Don't be daft.

I just found both He-Man and Orko are on Amazon.co.uk for pre order at £14.99 each. While not available for order, the Sky Sled set at least had a page again. And No you pre-ordered them, not I. Edit: After I checked my pre-orders had gone through, guess what then showed up in a panel down the right hand side of my amazon page? The rest of the line. I was weak and ordered all of them. Well unless I do get solid confirmation that they will show up for work for the same price or cheaper, where as I can use my staff discount and cancel the Amazon orders. But so far I have pre-ordered "all" of wave 1 and some of wave 2. I found a listing that She-Ra is supposed to be wave 1 but I haven't seen anything about her so assume that was an error. I haven't seen Trap Jaw yet on amazon. www.he-man.org/collecting/toycollection.php?id=112&field=Wave&sort

I was never a fan of the cartoon, and never owned a He Man toy (my brother had Skeletor and the battle damage He Man though, so I know they were fun), but I do like the look of these.
Classically styled / proportioned figures but with more posability and as affordable, actual, toys is a really nice idea. Those upcoming Thundercats toys look nice but a bit too pricey and collector-targeted.

Not the best quality photo, but i went for a plod to Glasgow this afternoona nd found that they had the Super 7 5 1/2" Filmation styled figures down to £14.99, with the exception of He-Ro and Eldor who were £16.99 each.
They did seme to have mostly the later wave characters, so no regular He-man, Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, She-Ra etc but still a good selection.
I did pick up myself a Stratos, Evil Seed, Eldor and a Transforming He-Man only for the glow in the dark feature and the box art is so good on that figure that it may stay on the card.

Never saw the line cheaper than £30-ish a pop so never bought any when I worked out just getting the core cast would set me back hundreds. If Origins figures are £15 and at general retail it becomes a much more attractive line to be able to collect

Disappointed in the lack of lateral poseability. Maybe in another 37 years...

Well that's very disappointing on the comics front. Why can't toy companies get the on/in-package fiction right these days..?

Well that's going to annoy the Brexit voters. They didn't vote to get rid of multi-language pack-ins only to lose English as well!

Caved in and ordered the entirety of the Origins line. Hoping that Amazon will get Heman back in to stock, but if not, he is released through FP in January..

I've always liked the tank top battle damage Skeletor look for some reason. In my head cannon, Battle Damage He-Man and Skeletor make amends after Man At Arms dies from Hordak and they go running next to the lava river around Snake Mountain together during a siiiiiick training montage.

Do they roll around on the beach slapping each others thighs manfully and 'wrestling'?
