Wouldn't rule out them going into the start of the Ruckley stuff either, they'll have a nice little amount by then. Probably enough for another extension on top...

Now that probably wouldn't make sense, as it's ongoing. Maybe down the road they could put out a few volumes depending on how many issues it covers. Issue #13 is on the schedule so it won't just be 12 issues.

20 volumes seems a bit much unless we see some other Hasbro IDW titles like the Visionaries, Rom and Star Trek mini series. Heck maybe they got the rights to some manga or Devil's Due stuff. I'd like to see Beast Wars stuff .. 20 issues is pretty generous. Let me revise my totally made up list of volumes: Vol 81: Cybertron No More (TF vs Visionaries series) Vol 82: The Dead Come Home (Optimus Prime 13-14, 2018 Annual) Vol 83: The Falling (Optimus Prime 15-21) Vol 84: Time Will Rust (Optimus Prime 22-25) Vol 85: The Everlasting Voices (Lost Light 13-18) Vol 86: Crucible (Lost Light 19-25) Vol 87: Unicron (Unicron series) Vol 88: Revolution (Revolution miniseries) Vol 89: First Strike (First Strike mini) Vol 90: Revolutionaries (8 issue series) Vol 91: Shining Armor (Rom vs Transforming miniseries) Vol 92: Dark Designs (G2 #1-6) Vol 93: A Rage in Heaven (G2 #7-12) Vol 94: Prime's Directive (Star Trek vs Transformers mini) Vol 95: Marvel's TF vs GI Joe (miniseries) Vol 96: Devil's Due TF vs GI Joe vol I Vol 97: Devil's Due TF vs GI Joe vol II Vol 98: Devil's Due TF vs GI Joe vol III and IV Vol 99: Marvel's Transformers the Movie adapt Vol 100: IDW's Transformers the Animated Movie adapt I think in some form, my 81-94 is pretty likely, with the rest a possibility. Other ideas would be: - TF vs Ghostbusters (possible)
- some collection of Profiles (less likely)
- some collection of Timeslimes / TFCC material (even less likely)
- Uncollected Dreamwave Stuff (damn near impossible!)

Excellent news. 20 is a surprise; I was banking on ten.

Now that probably wouldn't make sense, as it's ongoing. Maybe down the road they could put out a few volumes depending on how many issues it covers. Issue #13 is on the schedule so it won't just be 12 issues. The 80 issue series was never going to have a neat ending point (the fact book 80 wound up this close to the end of Lost Light and RID was an unplanned coincidence), so I doubt the 100 will. Comic Partworks usually just carry on doing extensions until either they completely catch up or the audience gives up entirely. And up to issue 100 gives us, what, another year and a half? That's 36 Ruckley's on top of what we've already got, plus things like Galaxies and who knows what else. I certainly think we're likely to see some of that before Botcon comics. Hell, maybe even another extension if they can work out what seems to be the ten issue minimum. We're just lucky there is a finite limit on Transformers material. I've seen people have to give up on the original Marvel one as it got extension after extension and kept going past the launch of other basically identical Marvel ones and leaving them with nowhere to put the books and having spent hundreds more than they signed up for.

Don't mind this extension as there is a lot of material they have missed it would be good to cover. Would really like to see a complete breakdown of those extra issues first before agreeing it to it though, but minimal chance of that. Any extension beyond that... I will definitely think twice over. My interest level for latter IDW stuff are low enough and the current new run even lower.

Bet they still don't include the original and definitive ending of Marvel TF.

Just seen there's that new series Galaxies, and hadn't realised the most recent book was Twice-Monthly. While still not enough banked for a second extension, I'm expecting to see some of this in the new 20.

I'm really getting confused with all the different eras of the IDWverse at this point. The staggered release is doing my head in. I might have to just start at the beginning again and just work my way through, pausing while I wait for the holes to be filled.

Interestingly, Hachette are putting out a Death's Head trade that seems to basically be the two Panini volumes in one, minus any Doctor Who related material (no issue 8 or the two DWM issues) but plus the Simon Williams drawn Hulk Vs Death's Head story. Presumably a result of Furman having his feet under the table there, I must admit I was unaware they did non-partwork comic trades. www.hachettebookgroup.biz/titles/marvel-comics/deaths-head-freelance-peacekeeping-agent/9781302923365/Got the Panini books and the other story in the Annual it was reprinted in so a pass from me, but nice to see it back out there.

Product page for Remain in Light on the Hachette site says that it will include the two backup text stories from issues 13 and 21. I believe this is the first text stories the collection is doing, giving me a quantum of hope that we'll see more in the expansion.

Mostly. Volumes 1, 19, 26, 35, 50, 59 & 64 use seven of the eight Guido incentive covers from Infiltration (the unused one is Bumblebee), 41 & 41 use art from other IDW covers, and 6, 8, 10, 16, 18, 21, 29, 31, 36 & 39 use artwork I've not been able to determine the origin for, or even other uses for most of them. The Megatron from 6 and the Optimus from 16 were both used on the covers of Shout! DVD sets, but I doubt they were made for those. I suspect they're generic art commissioned at some point for general licensee use. Likewise the spine art, which I haven't been able to identify, but it's obviously the work of multiple artists.

Some of the art is from the current style guide that licencees can access.

It's a shame the spine is a hodgepodge when most other Hachette series have a specially commissioned piece of art for the spine. Eaglemoss's Legend Of Batman is similarly thrown together, mind.

I believe you are correct. Does anyone own the Shout! DVD sets? Perhaps those images for 6, 8, 10, 16, 18, 21, 29, 31, 36 & 39 are somewhere in the booklet or on the disks themselves. I'm almost 100% sure they are by Don Figueroa.

City on Fire should have the RiD annual in it too. Also, they went with that over 'Before the Dawn' or 'All Good Things'?
