I'm willing to take the risk. I was thinking of doing a double with Combiner Wars, but it's a question of time these days. If you plan to do a double bill SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE! No one else has done this before. We don't know what it will do the human mind. -Ralph

In which case I must do it.
I must.

But it may involve beer. I wonder how I can get that useless Tumblr page on my telly. CW I have video files for.

Oh this is on. This is on like Donkey Kong.
This thread will either witness my greatest triumph or ultimate demise.

I did a B7 marathon before the big Who one. I lost my post-work half hour genre TV slot for a while but I made a new year resolution to reinstate it. At the moment I'm marathoning the Planet of the Apes cartoon. A massive run of 13 episodes. Some of them are quite good!

It's slow, particularly in the delivery from the actors - so slow it's like they were told. to. pronounce. every. word. very. clearly, and that means it's very flat and lacking energy in the voice work. But it mashes together several interesting elements from the film and tv series and creates a kind of reworking/kind of sequel story. The animation is very limited, but it's going for realism rather than toon fun and has an artistic style that makes it stand out. It's actually made by DFE, the company that eventually became Marvel Productions.

The DVD I've got is a region 1 American release. Probably off amazon.com knowing me. The episodes do need watching in order; there is a vague continuity.

You must have a break between each episode to get the full effect of the cliffhangers. A minute would do.
