So Drift is now Deadlock??

He always was.
But it's probably easier to copyright than 'Drift'

Copyright shouldn't have been an issue, I would have thought, given there's also been movie Drift. I guess they're maybe going to do his whole defection storyline..?

Perhaps! It just seemed odd given how much Hasbro pushed the Drift character (before effectively being replaced by Windblade as the Big Push character).

Drift is currently in use in the Studio Series line, so it has nothing to do with copyrights.
It's 100% doing his origin/defection story. Be was already introduced in Cyberverse as Deadlock ("Maccadam's")

Question - Warrior Optimus Prime. He's got a spring in his left arm, doesn't seem to function as intended on the one I have (his arm should flick down releasing the axe). Anyone seen any hints online as to how to fix before I take a screwdriver to him?

Seismic Stomp Grimlock is new to me. I am amused that the gimmick appears to be shooting water out of his tail (!) rather than the stomping action the name would suggest!

It's to hide the fact that what's actually happening is that he pees himself every time there's an earthquake.
Picked up a Spark Armour Sky-Byte on the way back from the South yesterday. Will take pictures... at... some... point.

Showing concept art. Grimlock combining with a garbage truck! Also showing Sky Byte's artwork combined with a construction vehicle. Reminds me of the Decepticon Generals in Zone! #SDCC2019 #Transformers #toys #actionfigures

Still liking the look of that Alpha Trion. Sure, he'll not be very poseable or anything, but he's nice and colourful and the most actually-Alpha-Trion-y toy we've ever had.

Somewhere along the line, Alpha Trion went from looking like a frail old man, to The Rock wearing a foo manchu, and I think it's when Hasbro stupidly decided he's a 13.

The 13 nonsense can go jump in the sea but I do like Buff Trion even though I prefer Old Trion. The one in that crappy novel with the pen that writes the history of the universe can go jump in the sea too.

Love that Alpha Trion - there's a good Commander Jhiaxus to be made out of that toy, obvs a Thunderwing/Black Shadow as well.

I would love it if they were to end up doing a kid-friendly version of Jhiaxus in the Cyberverse line. They won't, but it would nevertheless amuse me greatly.

You never know. All sorts of things are popping up in Cyberverse. The line is not new-RID quality but it's fine for what it is. The only problem I have is that the toys are vastly overprices for what they can do compared to Siege or Studio Series. Really, Cyberverse should be half the price it is.

And a Target one, too, which means - as someone pointed out elsewhere - we'll have no chance of getting it, given Tesco really aren't into this game any more. Hoping someone can correct me, though, and give us hope...
