Nor, I to be honest. But I am going to have to find a SixGun at TFN.

Yep, must find me a Sixgun also. And then a Metroplex to go with it. (No.)

2nd Blowpipe obtained.
But.....
Blowpipe, Aimless and Caliburst are all recolours and slight remoulds of each other.
As such I can swap the ball jointed limbs between them.
Do I need even more to create all grey and all blue Targetmasters? And odd colour combos when Caliburst is out?

This may break Ralph. If swapping weapons isn't allowed, then swapping legs is RIGHT out.

Arms and Legs.
He was not too pleased when Overlord and Black Shadow did trouser swapping ...
It started when I considered the problem of what Targetmaster should be Select Riochet's Nebulon.
What I probably should do is hunt down a spare Universe Nightstick

Oh that's good. Metroplex is still one of my favourite Generations figures. Having Six Gun on his helipad might do funny things to me.

Hmm. With some mild retooling, sixgun could do a passable obsidian.

Been opening all the Micromasters over the last few nights. Except ravage and laserbeak. They can wait for Soundwave. The Rescue Patrol feel much flimsier than the first wave. Neither can keep their legs on while transforming. They look good on my new Countdown base, but I think in the long run these Siege ones are going to feel very samey. Need more alt mode variety.

Gah. Sixgun was in my "skip" list. Not because he looked bad or anything, just not a toy I had any nostalgia for, and also, to try and keep my budget down.
But damn the weaponising thing is such good fun. Love the look of some of those combos.
I want to love Prowl, but he looks too plain. That said its nothing Toyhax won't fix, so I'll still be picking him up.

Okay, so unusually, today I found EVERYTHING. Every new TF that is currently available, except wave two Siege Battle and Micromasters, and Cyberverse Hotrod. Everything else though, across all lines. Siege, Studio, Bumblebee, and Cyberverse.
So I got siege W2 Deluxes and Voyagers. (Almost got Studio Cogman and BB style Optimus, but that's a LOT of money)
In hand they're all very different... but isn't that par for the course, with Siege?
Chromia- About the biggest surprise... she's as much a retool of Moonracer, as TR Chromedome is of Blurr. Basically, she isn't. She reuses MR's thighs, and wheels, and that's it. (And I'm not 100% certain the wheels aren't just sculpted to look like MR's) She is almost a full head shorter than Moonracer. That's how different they are. Basically, she looks very similar in robot and vehicle, but only superficially. She's the Jazz to Prowl: Same basic vehicle, same basic robot, but goes about it very differently. Her functionality is an improvement. They fixed a lot of engineering issues MR had, such as ground clearance. But she's also way over detailed. And kinda... flat (no, not saying "she needs bigger bazongas, I'll come back to this with Starscream). She also comes with two somewhat pointless, and infinitely losable tiny gun barrel extenders, that don't really clip on very well to anywhere. I think Moonracer is a lot nicer looking figure. She's not overdetailed, she has dimension to her. Chromia's definitely the better car, though.
Sixgun- I like him a lot better than Cog. But as far as I'm concerned, there's not much with talking about.
Prowl- he's still weirdly proportioned in hand, but it's not quite as bad as in pictures. The "hollow legs" issue isn't a big deal in hand, at least not for me. Nice car, decent robot, overall very solid toy. But it's rather very whelming. I'm whelmed. My biggest criticism of the mold (boring deco is not the mold's fault), is THERE ARE NO FRIGGIN STANDARD PEG HOLES ON HIS SHOULDERS!!! Instead, he has these weird, almost oval shaped rectangular slots. So you can't give him his iconic shoulder rockets, because there's not a dang gun in existence (yet) that fits those slots. But ultimately, this is obviously not Prowl. Prowl was either a requirement, or an afterthought. I suspect I'll like Barricade better. It was obviously designed with Aileron in mind at some point. Either recycled from a rejected toy of her, or Prowl was forced upon it at some point.
Ironhide- He's the real star of this wave. He calls to mind Energon Inferno pretty hard, with a very similar transformation that has a clever twist. He is what we've hoped for, for years. Unfortunately, his leg panels nearly ruin him. They're held on entirely by friction, and not particularly tight clip ons, at that. It's impossible to transform him without them falling off. His weapon is kinda stupidly designed, too. It's impossible for him to use it as a gun without looking extremely awkward, the handle is so far forward. But he's still the best of the lot.
Starscream- He's actually worse in hand. He's a terrible design, over sculpted, makes NO sense, and the weathering deco not only makes zero sense, it makes him look rusty. He's not as bad as he looks in pictures... he's worse. His transformation is stupider than you could imagine. And as has been stated, his robot mode design is completely disconnected from the vehicle stored completely on his back (five pieces actually. Two wings, two nosecone halves, and very tiny jet thrusters) But surprisingly, the worst part is the sculpting. There is barely anywhere on him that does not have a pointless line etched or raised into it. They didn't even leave a place for faction symbols. Now remember Chromia? How I said she's flat? Starscream is what hammers this home. From head to toe, he's flat. Just a series of boxes, and all that sculpting? Barely is a scratch on the surface. Worst figure in Siege. Worse than even PotP Starscream. (Better sculpted, and at lease PotP Starscream actually does something, even if I don't like combiners in general) And they'll have to scrape the barrel in order to give us worse than Starscream.
Soundwave- his size is a dramatic improvement over TR. he has a nice robot mode, but again, over sculpted, and the weathering is way over done (though it makes more visual sense than Starscream's). His vehicle mode is where he crashes and burns, though. While the general consensus always was that it was crap, I thought it looked like an interesting spaceship. Well, I don't anymore. I don't honestly for the life of me understand why they didn't follow RotF's lead and make him a communications satellite.
Wave 1 pretty much knocked it out of the park. Even the figures that weren't exciting turned out to be stellar. Wave two is a much bigger mixed bag. Only Ironhide really stands out, and he's crippled by the leg panels. Prowl's also a really solid toy, but just boring by way of being Prowl. (Not saying Prowl is boring, just that he's not a good fit on this mold. Streetwise looked NOTHING like Prowl, but was still a more interesting Prowl)

You know, I think I'd like the Prowl mold more as literally anyone other than Prowl and Barricade-
• Aileron • Cheetor • Shadow Panther • Skram • TFP Smokescreen • TFP Knockout
Just off the top of my head

Putting intense and palpable jealousy aside, good run-down there CJ, thanks (he says threw gritted teeth).
Glad Prowl feels solid. I think that's the main thing. And interesting what you said about the legs. I'm gutted he has no possibility of shoulder launchers, buuuut I think 3P will come up with something. And interesting what you said about him not quite fitting with Siege... I think that's what's been giving me The Fear of late.
Glad Ironhide's good too.
Soundwave sounds ok, Space-brick modes aside.
Disturbing about Starscream. Need a good voyagers Strike Plane more than a new Prowl... I like the over sculpting, so may I'll like him more...
OK! COME ON HASBOLLOCKS! GET SOME STOCK ACROSS THE POND ALREADY!!!
