Do you have online meetings for things like that if you do group exercises? It's not the OU stuff that worries me. -Ralph

Strikes me with technology these days you could do lectures/workshops etc online without being limited by geographical location.

Struggling tonight, cold has finally broken out properly and is hitting the CMT really badly. Have already put team member on stand by to do my projection slot tomorrow in church, but would really like to be there.

Just heard news that a retired Professor in a society I am a member of died a few days ago. He was a giant in some of the fields I am interested in and the sort of person who the more you learnt about from others the more you realised he had a big hand in both the level of development and the friendly and community atmosphere the field enjoys here in the UK. Never got to speak to him much myself as ill health has taken him off the scene the last few years but do stuff for the society with his wife on a regular basis. I had them both down on a list of folk I wanted to do interviews with exploring the history of the society and field. Knew he was unwell but you don't really think it'll happen yet. Makes me think I should move faster with a couple other key folk who I know better and are very old/unwell as well.

Made it 40 mins into the service (having done the prep work beforehand) before a fall told me it was Game Over and time to retire hurt!
Left on of my team in the chair and I'm off to bed with a cuppa.

Blimey, I'd forgotten all about that. Have I been fooled by anything? I've no idea.
(NB, I genuinely am writing stuff for you, Blue, that is not a fool. Enjoying it loads too!)

Nick is yet to confirm his travel plans to me yet. He may well be coming to Swindonia on Saturday.
Or is he booked to travel south from Glasvegas Friday?
