#47 was on sale in my local WH Smith earlier, with a 'free' Optimus Prime toy. I didn't buy it, though was impressed by the Op Prime art on the back cover.

Acquired!
Though I see the title is actually 'Transformers Official Magazine'. #51 is the current issue.

Current issue has a Megatron tat figure cover mount.

I've now seen the cover, thanks to an optimistic person on ebay trying to sell it for £10.99.
The Megacheap toy looks... ok, though the bland greyness and faded orange waist does it no favours. The Energon putty and fact cards look interesting.

Work hasn't had this one in. With Cyberverse ending anyway, was half expecting them to have let it fold during the current crisis. And they still might I suppose, I doubt cover mounted tat factories are an essential service.

Who knows, could we dare to dream that quality comics hit the supermarket shelves as opposed to the current load of crap.

I forgot to get the one with the tat Megatron toy. The current issue has a Blurr figure.

No sign of it in my local supermarket, though it did have a Rescue Bots comic with a dinosaur Grimlock toy.
There's also a new Power Rangers comic on the shelves. Issue 1 comes with a wrist gun toy on the cover, almost exactly the same as the type that appeared on Transformers comics a few years ago. However, the biggest surprise was found within its pages.... You may want to sit down for this.... It contains a comic strip! With panels, art, word bubbles, and everything! It even looked like specially-created artwork rather than episode screengrabs! Astounding!

Definitely going to have to pick up a copy of Cheeturine when I do my shop later - provided that the place isn't swamped by panic buyers, that is.

Gah - Sainsbury's was out of a lot of comics yesterday. And also loo-roll. (Well, the nice, soft, cushioned stuff, anyway. Plenty of the rest.) I'm heading into town tomorrow anyway to pick up Scarenthood (I know - pray for me) so I'll see if I can find Cheeturea then.

*Still* unable to find a Slash Cheetor (I knew I'd get there in the end) - WHSmith in town all drew up a blank when I was in town last week. Hoping that the different larger Sainsburys I'll be heading to later for essential supplies will fare better...
