My third Open University course started this week. As I was off work I was able to get the first two week's worth of reading done and sat down to do the first Assignment (essay)* which looked like a nice straightforward 'ease yourself into it' starter task. It's also only 8% of the overall course grade. Tried yesterday: blank screen. Tried today: blank screen.
Hopefully tomorrow's Day School will kickstart my brain!

*I generally try to be one or two weeks ahead of the schedule for OU courses to allow for health issues/breaks/unexpected life things etc.

Test results all back negative. GP has referred me for some hospital-based probing so now need to wait for that to come through. A better week this week than last but I am definitely not right and running out of energy midway in the day most days despite extended amounts of sleep.

Sorry to hear that things remain not so good Gavin.Fingers crossed that the hospital tests can track down the issue.
I've had the (step)parental units up to visit my home this weekend. My little flat has recieved the seal of approval from my mother in terms both of the flat itself and its location. Mum was also caught out by the efficiency of Northampton's taxi service - she called for a taxi expecting to wait half and hour as she would do down in Surrey or on the South Coast. She was not quite prepared for them to say "that's fine, someone will be there in five minutes". Worked out well though - they were able to get outbound from Northampton a full hour before they expected, which is handy when starting a long journey.
