I had a Titanium Menasor that I never opened. In the end it went to Ebay.
What about never transforming a toy? My ROTF Optimus Prime has been on display since I won him at AA in 2009 but I've never had the urge to transform him. If he were packaged as a vehicle (as all Transformers should be in my opinion) I would have.

Relevant to the thread subject: not opening a toy has backfired pretty badly.
I bought an extra PotP Inferno for a reprolabel repurpose set. Kept him in package for a couple weeks, until the set in question was ordered and delivered. Spring Inferno from his package, only to discover he's missing a wheel. Receipt is long gone, and starting to look like Infernos are, too as now I can't find him in stores.
(Planned on buying another one, then returning this one with that receipt, hopefully from the same store)

I have a growing pile of unopened toys but I am waiting until I have somewhere to live before I open them.

I think that's fair enough. It's not like you're 'doing a Pinwig' or anything.

I have have one MOTUC figure unopened, but despite being left in a darkened storage room the figure went a bad colour in the packaging so I will probably dispose of it. -Ralph

I think that's fair enough. It's not like you're 'doing a Pinwig' or anything. This is true of toys bought this year and in my current temp digs but I must admit to finding unopened Encore Optimus and tapes at the back of the cupboard when moving house. I do look forward to parcelling out opening toys when I have a flat to put them in. It has not been a great year so something to look forward to is good. -Ralph

A sort of white peely-wally colour. Severe farmer's tan. Some of the loose MOTUC figures aquired dandruff. Not a sturdy line. -Ralph

I'm leaving my three 2018/2019 MOTU Super7 figures unopened and hope they don't change colour.

I think that's fair enough. It's not like you're 'doing a Pinwig' or anything. Pinwig hasn't done a Pinwig for a long time now. Infact many recent purchases have been opened on the day I got them. Including Jetfire. Which you should pre-order.

Trying to figure out how I can ever possibly buy Unicron...

I wouldn't worry about it until we know we actually can buy Unicron. I'm game, but unless Kapow or someone get preorders through TTMall I can't see how.

True. But if IF IF that happens, I'll need to be ready.
I... I might have to make some radical sacrifices.

I have bought PotP Beachcomber down from upstairs to possibly open this afternoon. I think I bought him last year some time. Not. My first time trying to open him.

You could sell your Delta Force collection. I don't think £1.20 will make much difference to the Unicron fund. I'd have to pay someone to take The Chronicles of Paige and Asher away...
